Can WordPress & a Membership Script Do This....

Run multiple membership sites within the same wordpress install.

For example....lets say I have a car repair/upgrade membership site. Can I create separate protected directories for each manufacturer.

For instance, if you purchase the Ford membership you get access to everything within the Ford directory but are denied access to BMW, Mazda etc.

I know I this is easily done with multiple wordpress installs but can it be done with only one?

Thanks,

Kevin

P.S. I hope what I'm trying to accomplish is clear. If it isn't let me know ad I'll try to explain it a bit better.

One option is to use RapidActionProfits together with
    the RapPress membership add-on.

    Rapid Action Profits (no affil.)

    Rapid Action Press (no affil.)

What the add-on will allow you to do is to create
conditional content that will only show for people
who have purchased a particular product via RAP.

So, you can control the post and page content as
well as the pages and posts that appear to the
subscriber - depending upon what they've purchased.

So, if they've purchased the Ford Membership, then
only the content related to that subject area will be
displayed on the pages, posts and even in the navigation
    menus.

Plus, if they refund, they don't get to access the paid
    content areas anymore.

Absolutely! You can do anything (almost) with Wordpress and most Membership plugins.

You could use Wishlist, DAP, Memberwing (just to name a few) membership plugins and create different levels/memberships for each section.

You can set it so buyers only see the material they paid for and not the other sections.

      @Shaun,

I've never thought of using RAP. I'm going to check into everything it can do.

Maybe I'm mistaken but I thought membership levels were incremental. If I have bronze, silver, and gold levels aren't the scripts set up so that silver level members can view both silver and bronze content while gold level members can view all three???

        Not necessarily.

Most are represented that way, but with Rapid Action Press (RAP Press), mentioned above by Shaun, there can be any degree of overlap desired. You can :
        • totally segregate content such that each can be a separate membership, or
        • you can overlap one level with another so that one is totally inclusive of the other, or
        • you can set up partial overlap so that only certain content from one level is included in the other

It's a very flexible system, and others may have similar capabilities, but I can't speak to those.

No, you can keep each level totally different. It is all in the setup. You can have it so Silver (Ford) sees Bronze (Chevy) too, or just Silver sees Silver only and Bronze only sees Bronze.

I'm a huge fan of DLGuard. With DLGuard and this plugin: DLGuard WordPress Membership Plugin

You can create multiple memberships within DLGuard and then designate any post or page to a particular membership, just as you are suggesting.
