Product launches can produce a boost in income if done correctly, with a list of 3000+ if done right you can still earn some good money

as people are aware paypal can freeze your funds/account if they see suspicious activity, and vast funds entering your account if you get them {from a launch for example}

Phoning paypal in advance can help to let them know in advance,

but, have any of you done product launches, using Paypal/ or RAP for your payment system, only to find After wards your paypal account has been frozen?

  • I always call ahead of time. They always make a note of my phone call and I have never had my account limited or frozen. I also know people who do not call in advance and do not have problems.

It seems the main problem is when some one makes a whole lot of money, then suddenly withdrawls it. That is when paypal gets a little worried and limits people's accounts. Dont make 10K in a day then take that out of the account the next day.

    Just be smart.

            Well, good for you.

Here's a little tip for you, though...relying soley on what is more or less anecdotal evidence of how internet marketing will work is counter productive in the long run.

If you go out and get your boots muddy you'll build up a lot better knowledge base to help you move forward.

And it's far more rewarding, as well.

            Not a bad trade-off.

Make sure you have a business account and you should have no problems.

Most horror stories I have heard is because people are using a personal account to do business and this will always get you into trouble.

Will a premier account do? On second thought, I'd better ask them.

But I've heard so many horror stories about Paypal....I think I'd take my chances with Google Checkout or some other alternative. I only use Paypal when I have no other choice.

I make it a point to withdrawal around 70% of my paypal earnings each week just in case Paypal decides to freeze it. I have heard to many horror stories on this subject.

I agree with Steven. I've been using Paypal since about 2002 (see sig) and always keep a minimal balance with them. I've been frozen once and it was NOT a nice experience.

I also give them a call then I run a promotion, and have always had a good experience when talking directly to them.

If you stay with PayPal, I agree with Steven Miranda that you should keep a minimum amount in Paypal to cover returns.

And always remember to notify your merchant account provider or PayPal if you have a promotion coming up AND get the name of the person you talk to. Also, you can send a fax or email. Then check to make sure the info is recorded in their database.
