Is Clickbank the best place to sell your product?

Wondering since I saw the new viral profit code thing being sold via Plimus.

Does clickbank give your product the best chance for promotion/success?

I don't know, but I think CB is terribly over rated considering all of the junk that's on there. but that's probably typical of an aggregator.

CB is over rated (as far as products go) and I use that to my advantage.

    Hey there Warhero,

I can't answer that for you since I've never tried every distribution network out there (CJ, ClickBank, PayDotCom, ShareASale, etc.).

But, know that you can set up your own payment system using DAP, DigiResults, AMember, OptimizePress (I think), etc.

Not really, CB has one of the HIGHEST refund rates out there... they have a very relax refund policy which sucks!

Plimus on the other hand, screen the refund requests and they actually care about you doing business with them... not like clickbank...

its ok for mediocre products like PDFs, guides, and videos, etc.. but a real business? no way, you cant put value in your business when youre limited to $100 for your product.

IMO, the only advantage Clickbank has over other channels is the ready made pool of possible affiliates to help you with promotions. More affiliates = more chances to make the sale. Outside of that, e-junkie or paypal and a download link work fine.

Yes the debate has been there for years.

Is there really lots of junk around on Clickbank. ???

    YES...no doubt.

But that place has been cranking for years, and is one of the easiest places to get affiliates on board.....as there is so much traffic and vendors there. It is hard to go past them.

I have over 1000 affiliates alone for one of my products there. They bring in sales without me doing anything. Yes i can be down the beach screwing off and it doesnt matter those guys can still bring in sales.

So i cannot go past these guys, there is too much history and ebooks out there telling people to use clickbank. So that is why I use them. Yes there is others out there, even good places. But IMHO clickbank still has the monopoly for the affiliates.
