Default Help! Can't download using Windows Vista?

Hi Warriors,

I was wondering if you could help me with this one... My customer says he can't download my ebooks (zip and pdf files) and audios (mp3 files). He's using Windows Vista. He's already have Adobe Acrobat and Zip.

I never had any customers with this issue before, so I was guessing it has something to do with Windows Vista?

Would really appreciate it if you could help.

Thanks so much,
Michael

Michael you need to supply more details.

What exactly does that mean "he can't download"? Can you describe what happens when he tries? And how does he try? Right click?

Oh, sorry for the incomplete data. He says:

"It downloaded OK but cannot read it."

Even though he has Adobe and Zip already.

Thanks, Donald.

Well we are moving forward kind of. OK so he downloads it to his computer and then what does he do? Does he right click the file?

Nevermind.... Hope this helps. He should consider learning to use his computer..... he can always right click and then "open with" and Vista should suggest Acrobat for his .pdf files (assuming he does have Acrobat not just an Adobe creativity suite that came with the computer.) and either Media player or VLC or whatever for his mp3s.

Thanks guys. I've asked him further questions as he gave me incomplete info. We'll see how this goes.

Thanks again,
Michael

The info provided by your customer isn't very helpful.

One of the reason may be that he has a faulty install of Acrobat Reader.
Your customer may also do not know what to do with the download he made. It happens.

Maybe you should create a new zip file of that PDF that you ask him to try that. Before you do that, get someone else who uses Vista to try it to make sure there's no corruption of the zip or pdf file.
