Can anyone recommend a very good premium theme for Word Press?

Hello!

I'd be grateful if someone could recommend what they consider to be the best premium Word Press theme, a theme that is very flexible and yet easy to use. Is there a theme where you can vary the ads in the sidebar, depending on what your post is about? I know there is such a theme that a well known Internet marketer offers to the buyers of his marketing course, but it has a link to this marketer's website at the bottom of the page, and I would like to use a theme with no links going out to other people's web sites. That is one reason I am ready to pay for a premium theme.
Thank you for any help,

Robert

There are so many good themes. You can't go wrong with woothemes or elegant themes. If you want a huge variety go to theme forest and have a look around. Thesis is popular among the professional bloggers, but there are so many.

I would give WooThemes a look. You can have access to all of their themes for $125.00 - I'm going to be making that purchase here in the near future.

Flexx. Using a number of their themes in the Clockwork Blogs program. There's a license fee, but it's well worth it for what you get that free themes don't have.

And, they have a special ads function built in. I've not used it yet, but it's right there in the dashboard sidebar after you activate a Flexx theme.

A free theme you might like is the Flexibility Theme - Google it.

Another one you might like which is also free is the Swift Theme from Wordpress.org

If you're set on a premium theme for just $39 you can access a large number of awesome themes from ElegantThemes.com

probably Internet Marketing WordPress Theme | WordPress For Internet Marketers is what you are looking for. I am not sure if it allows for everything you need but you can ask their support before buying.

I am using it and it is powerful and easy to use

I use socrates theme. It has good tech support.

Just remember to use an SEO plugin like SEO pressor.

PS you can remove the imprint at the bottom. It is easy. Google: socrates theme remove and there it shows some code you take off.

  • Woothemes.

If you paid for the 'well-known internet marketers' theme, then I would just change the link on the bottom or remove it altogether. That would usually be a violation of TOS for a free theme, but a paid theme you can do whatever you want with.

Personally I love Headway Theme. I use it and Thesis on a regular basis with my sites. If you have even the slightest hint of knowledge about web design, both are VERY flexible and you can do just about anything with them.

I absolutely LOVE Headway's visual editor. It's just like a WYSIWYG editor...just simpler.

Thank you for all the recommendations. I will check all of them-there are quite a few options!
By the way, the internet marketer I alluded to before did not charge for that theme, it was a bonus as part of the course.

Woothemes Gazette has spots for 4 sidebar ads, but the only one that would change depending on your post would be the Adsense ads. The only way I would know of to vary the ad is to create custom code for each single post page, but that would be a monstrous undertaking for a blog with more than a few posts.

Genesis by Studiopress - then add a child theme. If you get a developer license you get any of their future released themes on the house... You can pretty much do anything with it (like you can with Thesis). Woothemes have several nice themes though.

All of these theme manufacturers have a great ACTIVE help forum which is super important...

You've received a number of good suggestions.

Allow me to add two more.

      1. Go over to Theme Forest and have a look. I'm sure you'll find something to satisfy your needs.

      2. Check out ProfitsTheme. It can do what you mentioned you want out of a theme. Additionally it can create sales, squeeze, and membership pages and has built in membership functionality (protected pages/posts, drip content).

It all depends. What is your main purpose for the site. I think I could suggest some themes but I fear some would have features that would be no good to you or the "average" marketer. Mind telling us more about your needs. Please note I've only read your post so if someones already asks you and you've responded, my apologizes.

I'm trying to decide between headway theme and affiliate theme.. anyone have any experience with them? I can't do coding and need a drag/drop type theme. I'm not sure if I affiliate theme will work well for sites that are not affiliate sites.

I bought Headway and got my money back because it didn't allow me the level of customization that I wanted without knowing a bunch of CSS stuff...which pretty much defeated the purpose of even owning it for me since I don't know CSS and don't care too (except for the basics).

I like Thesis. It may be a bit pricey for what you're looking for, but when it comes to flexibility and adaptability, it's very impressive. I've used it over and over - you're in for life - and every blog is totally different. Also, the tech support and information that comes with it - DIYthemes - seems to be endless, including the odd freebie because you've bought in, such as Custom Backgrounds and Upgrades. I've never regretted the purchase.

If you want it primarily for Adsense, CTR theme is very good. There is a WSO lying around here somewhere
