Couple of month ago I posted a thread, where I advised people to avoid blogger if at all possible, and suggested for people to start with WordPress right away.

The reasoning for what I said was because I had a hard time transferring one of my successful site over to WordPress, and I wished that I would have used WordPress from the beginning instead. That is why I felt important to give others heads up to avoid the same problem.

What I forgot at the time, was the number of unsuccessful sites that I started, that didn't take me nowhere. Since I used blogger, I lost very little money on them. But if I were to use hosting, especially reseller hosting, I would have lost much much more.

So this post is my apology to blogger. It is great for testing markets. I am reading "Ready, Fire, Aim" right now, and the author says that every business first priority should be making a sale. Not setting up a fancy office or website, getting fax machine, and printing business cards.

Go out there and make your first sales. Once you start making sales, and you know that your business is works, than you can upgrade your site to something nicer.

And blogger is great platform to do just that. Just make sure to use your own domain from the begging. If you short for cash just get the .info domain for a couple of bucks. If you own the domain, you own the links. And let Google worry about the hosting costs.

What about you, are you using blogger?
