Business Model?

I know some people will say do both but to start out should I do website flipping or build a list? I have been making sales using free methods. But which one is better to start with? I am ready to invest some.. thanks..

    It's hard to give any good advice without knowing anything about your skill set or the niche you are in.

    With that said I am usually in favor of building a list.

    Or why not just keep making sales from free traffic, and expand that?

    Depends on timeframe. Why not do both. Flip sites for quick money and invest that money into building your list. Invest in the long term with money from the short term. That is a good strategy for growth and takes care of now and the future.

    In all honesty I don't do either of those models at the moment, as I'm more in the SEO and amazon game, but if I had to chose I'd go with list building.

      Depends on your skill level. Do you need to outsource some things or can you do everything yourself? Theoretically speaking the cost of a website really boils down to the cost of your domain name and any design costs. If you rock a Wordpress theme this could even be as low as your domain name registration fee.

    you need to start focusing on what your niche is and set up your blog after that. Building a list comes wayyy after and domain flipping? you need to know what you are doing

    If you know which niche you want to focus on and you don't need fast money then I'd say focus on list building.

    yes building a list is long term to this im business. but remember the list are not just hungry buyers but hopefully they end up being people that you come to know. It is a very proven business model. As for website flipping it is very profitable as well but with a little learning curve as compared to building a list with opt-ins etc

    I will start with flipping wesites while building a list at the same time. You can do both too....build a list of buyers who are interested in buying the sites you are selling.

    Ok if I build a list it would be in the MMO niche.. I don't want to limit myself as to what I am going bto offer them.. would like to build a list but I don't know if MMO is the way to go..

    With flipping sites is creating small blogs profitable anymore? If I were to do this this is the route I would go..

    Flipping will always require work, while after you have a list, the workload goes to basically ZERO. Focus on building the list, then you will always have a audience to sell domains you flip to.
