Ebook Product Launch Through Clickbank - Should I use E-Junkie to Stamp/Secure?

Hey all,

I have done some reading on the older threads and thought I'd ask for the latest/freshest opinions. I am getting ready to release an e-book product soon, mostly through clickbank, and wanted to get your advice:

-Should I use e-junkie to stamp the book to prevent too much unauthorized distribution?

-Does clickbank have any way to do its' own stamping/limited time downloads so the download page isn't always exposed for everyone?

-Am I able to capture buyer emails (even if they come from affiliates) when I sell directly through clickbank?

-What do you recommend to get affiliates from clickbank besides an affiliates page on the sales page and marketplace listing?

Any guidance would really be appreciated.

Thank you.

I have never used e-junkie before so I can not answer that yet.

No Clickbank does not have any expiring links because they only redirect the buyers to the page where the customers can download the product.

Yes you can get their emails even if they are affiliates alot of vendors are doing that like for example before affiliates can get access to affiliate tools they must subscribe first.

Clickbank doesn't watermark or stamp anything nor do they have anything to do with the delivery of the product. They are simply a payment processor and they take care of tracking and doling out affiliate commission.

I do think that Ejunkie is a good solution if you want to watermark your product and also so your download links expire so folks can't share them out too much.

I do believe that it is possible to add people to your list once they purchase through you also. I forget exactly how it's done but I have a book around here somewhere that I bought from Caliban that explains it all in an easy to understand manner... but I do believe that it is possible.

    Good luck with your launch!

Here are a couple of DIY solutions:
      - You can add a watermark to any word document.
      - Check this Clickbank page on protecting your downloads Protecting Your Product

Keep in mind that nothing you do will prevent folks from emailing the document to another person. A watermark + headers (with doc title) + footers (with author/copyright ) are all good reminders of the origin of the document.
