Struggling to think of ideas in my Email Marketing Campaign

I'm in relationship niche targetted at women, and at the moment I have only 15 follow ups, spread over a period of about 2 months.

How do you guys come up with new topics in your Niche's? I feel as if i've covered everything they need to know, but I'm sure there is much more to write about.

  • Search Ezine articles for inspiration for content.

Just remember, with a list... sell sell sell

(unless you're in my list, then it's info you're getting as I am working on a reputation. Not sales!)

Look at what magazines at the newsstands are doing, what stories and tips are they publishing? You can get ideas from there.

Yahoo Answers is a good place. You can search questions on your topic and see what's what's being asked. And how it's being answered.

So you could probably not only answer some peoples questions (and work a link to your product in there) but by looking at the answers you might get ideas about new products to produce. There's obviously a demand.

There's also a lot of plr articles out there on relationships so you could always pick up and rework some of that for content. Good thing with Yahoo Answers is it's a hot button to what's happening now. Same with 43things.com. It shows you what's popular in your niche right now (refresh the page to see the list updated)

Take a look at Cosmopolitan and other similar magazines.

I'm sure you'll find a cornucopia of information.

Make a list of the biggest wants/needs/desires/problems that your prospects are experiencing. Most of the time you can get this straight from your sales letter.

Write an email that targets ONE specific issue, then position the product as the solution to that issue. Then writer another email that targets a different issue, then another...

The thinking here is that, if you target each want/need/desire/problem specifically and position the product as the answer to that particular issue, then eventually the prospect will see a message that hits them right where they live and addresses THEIR specific problem--and delivers the solution to that problem.
