How can I make $50 a week without money to start up?

If there is anyone willing to help me startup by explaining (ideally with details) how to make ANYTHING? I'd be happy with $20 in a few days.

I would just like to actually get some money from online work into my hands-An important step to motivate myself + The money will help a lot too.

Can anyone help? Or point me in the direction of another good thread please?

Unless you sell something on ebay, it's very tricky to make money 'in a few days', as in, less than 2 weeks.

Most people will suggest a service (writing/web design) but you're looking at 2 week minimum to get started from what I've found. That's not too bad but it's not 'a few days'. You can offer services here but that involves a fee, which you could likely recoup...this might be your best bet depending on how payout is done tbh.

The only other choice you have is something like Amazon mturk, who WILL pay you quickly once you reach $10, but the tasks pay pennies. I've never hit it hard so I don't know how quickly you can get to $10. And even that takes a few days to clear all the payments.

Hmmm. That's a tough one, especially since nothing is really guaranteed. If you're looking for a "one week wonder" and you're looking for a small amount like $20-$50, a service that can be valuable to the everyday consumer, friend or family member may be best. From there, blast it out to your social media networks if they exist and have them retweet, 'like', etc.

I've noticed a lot of people do quick e-mail blasts with e-mail marketing. If your service is worth $20, then 3 sales/wk will hit over the $50 mark for you. If you have nothing valuable to offer, then hit the drawing board and find something that you can offer that's valuable to you, me, your dad, sister, friends or your dog.

Can you write? I started without a single dime in my account and I am now having a thriving Article writing business. It does not matter where you start you can make good income from writing. Take this for example I write 10-20 articles per day each is $5-10 worth.
I just started from a freelancing site earning $2/hr then I learn how to get along though that is five years ago.
Try writing. PM me for more help I like nurturing writers, Since someone also did that to me.

Constant Content is always good... in my blog I have an entry about sites where you can make money writing. There are tons of freelancing sites that people use to hire writers. Constant Content pays the best from what I can tell but has higher quality requirements.

This is a copy of a post I made recently to someone asking a similar question.

A few months back, I was looking around here for similar ideas and one that caught my eye was a casual mention of writing for London Brokers, an online publishing company (Google it). It's relatively poorly paid, but it's good for getting you into the discipline of article writing - if you make mistakes you'll be rejected, simple as that. You have to pass a small test to show that you're a native English speaker. The thing is, once you're under way with them, you can keep writing while you're looking for other work, say on Elance. London Brokers pay every Thursday without fail, into your Paypal account.

This was the most positive, practical suggestion I saw, although the "desperate" thread mentioned above is excellent.

If you don't have a Paypal account, get one immediately, to set up a fighting fund. Once you've built up a few hundred dollars (everything's dollars) from writing for London Brokers, plus selling odds & ends on Ebay, you'll be in a position to spend on such things as hosting, domain names and Warrior Special Offers (WSOs) on here. My first investment, that's been worth every penny, was joining the War Room.

I also placed an ad in Warriors For Hire in which I advertised a low cost article writing offer. People here are very good at giving you a chance. What the low paying articles do is build your confidence that you can get paid for your work.

A short while ago, I bought Nick Brighton's WSO about getting started on Elance. Low cost, great investment, because within days of taking his advice, I'd got my first job on there, despite having had an account for quite some time.

I posted a question on here the other day asking "How do writers make a living?" and the responses on the thread were incredibly helpful. If you have any interest in writing take a look at that thread.

Some will say, "Don't do article writing for low paying sites like London Brokers, it'll burn you out." But what you need is the feeling that you're getting paid for your work online. Once you've done that, you can move on from there. That's where I am right now.

Each time you achieve something new, it will inspire you to try for the next level. I've found this is the best place in the world to get help.

Don't buy a WSO unless it has a lot of testimonials saying it works and you think you're ready for it. Most of the times (19/20) you will purchase a WSO and either get; something you already knew, or something you simply can't operate.

They have two ways to get paid. The first is through "Pay Me Monthly" where you set it up with your bank account and once a month, if you have $100+ on there, it will transfer the money over. The other way is "Pay Me Now" where you sign up for an account with their affiliated bank. You will be sent a bank debit card and you can transfer the money over whenever you want for a $2 fee. Whenever I need to make a little chunk of change ($20 or so) in a short amount of time, I usually go to Textbroker, where you can write articles for internet marketers. Instead of advertising your services and waiting for someone to hire you, this lets you start working on jobs right away that other people need you for.

You'll have to send in a short writing sample so that they can evaluate your writing and assign you the appropriate star rating (ranging between 2-4 stars, with 5 being reserved for professionals only). The higher amount of stars you have, the more money you can get paid. If you start right out with a 4-star rating, you can earn about $6 for a 450-word article, for example. (Longer articles pay more, shorter articles pay less, because you get paid by the word.) With some practice, you can usually write about two articles in an hour, earning you around $12 per hour for your time. If you can write several articles in a day, then you can certainly make $20 fairly quickly- and there are hundreds of articles waiting to be written and submitted. Just remember that your star rating will go down if you submit poor quality articles, and your articles can also be rejected by the marketer if you don't follow the specific guidelines set forth.

Another site like this is LondonBrokers, but I think Textbroker is much better in terms of pay and writing freedom. Doing some basic writing is the best way I know of to get a little bit of pocket change in a fairly short amount of time. Good luck with whatever you end up doing!

hmm, it depends how much you know about I.M. There are different levels of "newbieness". some new to the game don't even know what wordpress is and some guys already know about that stuff and more.

In general, making money online in a short time all depends on your knowledge and what area you want to go into. It also helps if you have a big twitter of FB following. If you have that, you already have a group of people that you can market to.

Just find out what their general interests are and push some offers their way. Join some of the networks, like CJ, Shareasale, Peerfly etc.

Jump on any current product launch as an affiliate and market away.

If you need to learn more about I.M. in order to start, then it may be more realistic to set a timeframe of 60-90 days or so, before really seeing dollars.

If you have the right traffic, zip subs are pretty easy to convert.

Get a job a freelancer.com. Unless your willing to be patient to make those numbers, you can build a website, build quality backlinks, and add new content daily. Then you will get the money you seek, and possibly more over a long period of time!

Thank you for that! I've been getting into freelance writing, putting stuff on Constant Content and emailing people looking for writing, but I hadn't found that site yet. Always looking for more ways to make money with my writing. Looks like something that will be nice to work on between jobs I already have.

To the OP,

If all you're looking for is $50/week ($200/month) then your fastest bet would be offering a service where you get paid via Paypal. I'd say if you can write, it should only take a couple of articles per week to get to that level of income.

You could charge 50% upfront and 50% once the articles are delivered. It's what I would do if I had to get a quick burst of money for whatever reason.

I will also tell what many others have suggested. If you think you can write well, I think you should try out freelance writing for websites, newspapers, magazines etc. Its the easiest thing to start up if you have a PC with internet and loads of free time.
