My 2009 goal

Great goal. Just add a little more detail to it.

Ask yourself WHY you want to make $100 a day -- and write down the answer. Then ask yourself what the $100 a day will do for you: write down exactly what it would mean. (This helps you to motivate yourself, later.)

Then, set a deadline. "I will be making $100 a day consistently on this date __________"

Next, brainstorm HOW: "I will make $100 a day, by __________"

Choose ONE thing (selling affiliate products, creating your own product, flipping websites), and break this down into mini tasks, and enter these mini tasks into your calendar program -- aim for one task a day, a short one, so you get a sense of achievement, that you're working towards your goal.

Remember "80 percent of success is just showing up" -- Woody Allen. This is 100 per cent true. You don't need to be great at anything when you start out, because you get better with practice and by making mistakes. Just show up every day.

Just do exactly what Angela99 just said and you'll be fine. As long as you're specific with what you want and you really work to make it happen, it will happen for you.

Yep, making $100 a day is one of my 2K9 goals. 2K8 is pretty much over for me, but I'm learning the ropes to what will make 2K9 my year.

Read "think and grow rich" then write down your goals.

Thanks for all the advice. My reason for A 100$ A day is to be able to work from home and be able to travel with my fiance. That is the main reason I want to make 100$ A day! I'm really excited for the new year and I hope to be able to achieve this goal by the end of the year. I give myself time because I'm not always the sharpest crayon in the box ^^. Thanks again for all the awesome advice I'm looking forward towards the new year all ready!

Having goals is great - well done, now you have something to work toward. Write yourself a plan on what steps you are going to take to reach those goals.

Like Angela said - choose one thing - that's the biggest downfall of most people is they jump from one thing to another. Choose one thing and then write a plan on what you are going to do and then stick at it.

Example:

If you choose Affiliate Marketing your plan might be something like:

1. Choose a product to promote
2. Buy a couple of domains - one for a blog and one to redirect to the product
3. Write 30 articles and submit them to article directories, including a link to your blog and a link to the redirect url
4. Post to your blog every day and include a link to your redirect url.
5. Put an optin box on your blog and give away a short report to everyone that signs up - make the report relevant to the product you are promoting and include a link in it to your redirect url.

That's just a rought idea - you can of course expand on those - do more articles, do some forum marketing etc.

But just get down some ideas and a plan of what you are going to do and you will do well.

My goal is the same, all I know is it will take patience because I haven't made a sale yet!
