My morale is pretty low today. I had zero traffic yesterday. Thats a big hit to my motivation and confidence that I can be successful online.

You are doubting your ability to succeed based on performance for one day?

Put it into reverse and look at the larger picture.

That should give you some motivation to do more. It's usually the person that does more that is the one that succeeds.

I'm going to chime in with others here.

Business is business, you have good and bad days. You can't let the bad days become "big hits" to your motivation and confidence.

With respect, there are far bigger things that will happen in your life that will knock your confidence far harder than a day with no traffic.

Come on Dicky, get your thinking cap on and focus on how you can drive lots of traffic to your site and not focus on one bad day.

you can measure your performance base on 1 day result, you should review it after a month you have done right and what had been so right. REPEAT what you have done right and you are on the path to successful soon...

Sales usually slow down immediately following a holiday. Folks had a great time taking a day off so they stay in that mode a couple of extra days. We make really good money in the wso forum and we have seen a dip in sales since Sunday. But we know it will rebound strong the rest of the week like it always does. So keep your chin up my friend. Folks will be back on your website before you know it.

Success doesn't happen overnight. You have to work for it.

If you didn't see any traffic then that should be an alarm in your head that you need to start writing some articles and submitting them to directories. Start posting on forums in your niche with your link in the sig and start talking to fellow bloggers in your niche about a possible guest post. That's how you build traffic, then put up some quality content so they keep coming back for more!

One day means nothing man. Just keep up the link building and SEO. You -will- see results eventually.
