I just noticed that the Google +1 button is now appearing in my Google searches using the IE 9 browser. I don't see it with FireFox 4 or Chrome 10.

Have any of you noticed the +1 button in your Google searches lately?

If you see the button, do you ever click it?

I haven't seen it yet in my searches. It's supposed to show your friends that you like those sites - kind of like a "like button". It's very interesting technology.

Google launched the +1 button on Mar 31 2011.

google's +1 button - Google Search

I've not yet seen it though

  I signed up to get it early before everyone else gets it and I haven't even used it once. It just never occurs to me to hit my back button to +1 it after I've visited the site. I've actually pretty much ignored it.

Well, I clicked the button on a search result. It apparently puts the site into your profile for your Google friends to see if you have a Google public profile.

You also get the option of getting custom Google ads based on your selections.

What a deal, huh?
