Why Most People Fail To Earn Online?

People fail to make money online generally for 2 reasons.

1. The system sucks, is a scam and causes people to lose money despite them following instructions to the letter.

2. The system or mentor coaching has been tested and proven but people do not give themselves enough time to go through and do what is necessary to succeed before jumping and buying another system.

While it is true there is no such thing as a push button make millions software, people who are over-skeptical and see every offer as a scam will also NOT succeed.

It's like gardening where you need to
test the soil (keyword research), plant the seeds (build blogs or sites) and water them (driving traffic like article marketing, classified advertising, email marketing, forum posting, social media and video submission) everyday for them to grow into fruit trees. (make money)

But most people want fruits or money before they even start learning how to plant trees or build sites and drive traffic.

If that is you, why do you want to be in internet marketing in the first place?

    Your points are correct.
There is no magic button to get millions of dollars no no even a single dollar in a day.
You need to keep learning and applying those things to get some fortune.

The only reason why people “fail” online is because they give up too soon.

I agree with Johnathan 2.0, you have to stick with it to be able to see the results happening in the long run. I think most people either fail to start up in the first place or they burn out fast when they did not receive instant riches.

In my opinion most people fail because they give up too soon and don't understand that the hard work required will pay off and be worth the effort and wait.

Another reason is too much choice. There are so many ways to make money online. But, just as you find one method that looks promising, and have almost decided to go for it, something that looks even better comes along, and you find yourself jumping into the second thing without really following through on the first thing.

I've been there, and still struggle sometimes not to get distracted by new things.

What you have to do is find one thing and follow through on it until it's finished. You can always try something else...when you're finished with the first thing.

Life gets in the way for them, my brother who wants to do what I do so badly has 3 kids, a needy wife and works long hours as a bank manager.

He doesn't have the time to commit and when he does have free time he feels guilty not spending it with the family.

Everyone has their own reasons, some is laziness sure but it all comes down to not being able to (for whatever reason) do the work required and being able to stick it out through the brick walls of the learning curve... No matter how long or what it takes to achieve it.

I think reason #2 more adequately describes why so many people fail to make any money online. People want instant internet riches. So instead of following a proven system, they would rather continue wasting money on new products hoping to find that magic system. While in reality there isn't one.

I would say lack of focus and I still remember the early days when I was just starting out where I would just keep jumping from one thing to another and I was your typical info-product addict. However I was able to learn from my mistakes and now I am wiser and smarter

At the end of the day, you have ONLY YOURSELF to blame if you don't make it.

Sometimes, I feel it is the fear of success that holds us back.

    DEFINITELY lack of focus.

Thats why there are some guys who are making 4-5 figures a day after 6 months, and some who spend years and never make anything.

    Hello,

Interesting subject. I experienced the failure and the success, so I can tell you exactly from my personal experience.

In my opinion, the main reason for people's failure online is that they don't understand the fundamentals of online business. They don't know how to start and what they have to learn first and what to learn second.

My online business mentor used to tell me to stop being an opportunity seeker, and to start thinking strategically; because you are the one who is responsible for putting all the pieces of your system together and run it profitably...

There is no get-rich-over-night system out there. Everything requires effort. I think most people buy into that hype and start realizing that YES there is some work required. It will take time, but with effort and motivation anything can be achieved . After all, the only people stopping ourselves is us.

most people and myself failed online due to one thing.

Sitting on ass and saying you will take action tomorrow.

    Does tomorrow really come?

    NO!

    Plain and simple.

A lot of what was said is true, especially the fact that some systems don't give you the full scope of building a solid business model. It's important to outline goals for yourself and then use several different methods to achieve your results.

    Amuro -

Right on brother! We can not expect to stand in front of the fire place and say "give me heat" without putting something in first.

Learning takes a lot of work and most don't come to the system with that attitude. I can't wonder how this same group that has spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on Junior College and College degrees would even start to complain about the internet.

When I think about it, no body promised me success, riches or a perfect job -- but I still spent every dollar I had and then some to get those degrees.

It is not what you get it is what you give. Learning has to be recycled and service to succeed. I am in it for the long haul and echo your statements!

First, learn the business then expect progress as the learning grows so will the business. The good teachers on the internet will tell their students - right away - this is not get rich quick. If that is what you want - just keep on looking because it is not here.

Those teachers have a lot of creditability with me. They are doing what they teach. To be fair I don't know one of my high school, or college teachers who could do what they taught. No business millionaires taught in my college business classes.

I prefer to believe we are very fortunate that there are some ethical teachers out there - just like everything else we have to search. We have to question. We have to make our own decision.

My theory is that the get rich quick complainers not only want money before they produce results - they also want someone else to make the critical decisions for them. Consequently they get exactly what they deserve.

Thanks for your post and hope to see more of you in the future - I suspect you are in the group that will last because you understand the commitment required.

I think that the main reason is because they don't get reasults right away and they get disappointed and then quit. The key to succes is to work hard and never to give up.

Because they don't have enough knowledge and expertise, as well they don't have perseverance and attitude.
