Wordpress help...newbie

I have a header with the title of my blog in the header. Above the header is also the title of the blog. I would really like to get rid of the space and the title that is above the header. Is there a way to do this? I played around with many different themes until finding this one (Fudo 3.0 by Yura Smirnov). I know there are probably better options, but for a newbie, this one worked the best. I really do not want to change the theme at this point, do I have any options? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

you would need to edit your theme template where there would be slot for each element on the page. I came across something like this before. I was using joomla. I use wordpress myself too. I can't really tell ya other than if i can login into it and manipulate with it. I am guessing u can delete the default banner underneath your menu and where u insert your title blog above the menu u insert your banner

Tell me if u need further help.

You'd have to remove the blog title php script that's on on the main template on your editor menu. I would save a copy of the code in case you accidentally remove a piece of code you shouldn't have.. Just play around with the template editor.

Definitely don't do that. You're doubling your work, for sure.

First, don't use the template editor. It can cause problems. Using Notepad is better than the template editor, although I really don't recommend that, either.

It's getting late, so I really don't feel like digging into my cPanel at the moment and rifling through code to verify, but I would bet it's somewhere toward the top of your header.php file.

If you don't know what you're doing with code, don't mess with it, and instead re-post your question here:
