WF members I Need your help again please!!

Hello WF members,

I am trying to enter into language affiliate programs but being brand newbie to IM, and eventhough I posted before and received some valuable responses from 2 members, I am still very confused. I want from you guys to kindly direct me in the right direction and these are my current concerns which are related to both starting the business and promoting it:- ok to start this:-

- I even don't know how to google search my niche"foreign language" and evaluate competition.

-I was hoping to start by promoting the CB "Rocket language," affiliate program and was going to follow a WF member's advice to start with my own native"which is Arabic language " however, I read some negative reviews from some about 'Rocket Spanish" in a forum complaining about their customer's service quality and eventually got scared from the whole program!!
-Should that make me reluctant about promoting the rocket affiliate program? are there any WF members who are familiar with the clickbank Rocket languages programs to shed any light on this?

-I tried to look outside CB and found Pimsleur, Random house,...and others but their commission rate ranges from 15-20% and most of them ask for own website and some even require a min hits to your site? a blocker for a newbie like me.

-Alternatively do you think it will be more profitable to promote e.g. a language related products like grammer software, translation, audios.. instead of "learning language ''sites?

Regarding promoting my language affiliate program:-

-Do you think I should start with one product or is it better to do multiple languages(e.g.the rocket one)

-I am starting with wordpress blog so that would require me to write fresh contents everyday, so will I need to outsource since English is not my first language?

-Or shall I turn my back to all above and do an amazon-related language books affiliate site? yes I know I am sooooooo confused and stuck for around 4 months now not knowing where to start and how to do things?
Please help me before I go crazy!!
thank you very much for your time,
Nawal

    Hi Nawal!

Take a deep breath. Yes, right now. Before you read any further take a big deep breath - and exhale slowly.

Do that a couple of times, but go slow. I don't want you to hyperventilate.

    Ok,

    - I even don't know how to google search my niche"foreign language" and evaluate competition.
Forget that. Yep, just forget that.

    Now, think about this.

English is not your first language, right? But I totally understand what you are writing here.

So, why would you not promote programs that teach English? And why could you not promote them in your native language?

I would encourage you to focus first on just one language.

Get one set up at a time. Also, who says you can't try promoting rocket and some other programs too? But again, start with one, test it for yourself and see how it converts, do give it a fair shot, and then move on to the next.

Jill thank you for your input. to promote in my own language I will need to buy domains from Arabic speaking countries right? and also would need to apply a translation software in order to have my -would be- affiliate site be turned into the target language? please correct me if I am wrong.
      thanks again,
      Nawal

  • I've never affiliated with any language courses personally, but I know for a fact that Pimsleur is legitimate. It's been around for many, many years, long before the internet, and it's what the government uses to train its diplomats quickly. I used it myself when I was learning French. Oui!

I know that Rosetta Stone is an excellent product, as well.

Sites or products, or even both, it sounds like a review site might be your best way to go. A blog is an excellent way to do this.

I don't know about 'Rocket', but if it is a 'bad choice' for customers, then you can let visitors to your blog know this. It doesn't mean you can't still attach an affiliate link to it.

You don't have to write everyday in your blog, but the more often you write, the more often the search engine spiders will come back.

Bradley thank you for replying to me. I looked into Rosetta Stone but if I am correct their affiliate program is restricted to UK residents only, I also believe they ask you to have a website to join them. It's really disencouraging to newbies to be asked to enter their URLs while some of us are even have just started to learn how to creat one!! I would have started with education-related CPA 2 months ago if I were given the chance to do it without having a website. I will definetely take your "blog" idea advice, however, a deep down negative voice scares me by saying I won't be able to drive traffic to it, will not listen to it though

You can also look into auto blogging software such as wp-robot just make sure that you translate it into several languages-done in program- and then back to English so the content is fresh...

Oh and your writing in English looks great to me.

You actually have better English writing skills than some native speakers!

Don't be discouraged and hang in there!
