I am brand spanking new here, and I would like to lean everything there is to know. Where do I start?

    Maybe tell us where you are at and what you have done and we can help....It's funny I am new here to but I have been reading these posts for years.

    Once again if we know what you are doing maybe we can help! For example do you have a website, are you promoting offers? Where are you in terms of what you need help with?

      Hey; First, Thanks for your reply. Yes, I have a website, no biggie. I have been working on it for years, through Yahoo. [What others do in 5 minutes takes me years]
      I also started a social site.[it is hosted; rented]
      I am in several money programs
      And, of course, many TE's.

      wow im new to just start reading posts and ask questions when you need to. Asking where to start is a very broad question maybe checkout the forum rules.

      When you post, try to ask the question and specify what you actually mean to get the best possible answer.

    Welcome to the forum! There's loads of info to get you started here, but obviously you can quickly become overloaded because there's so much. Try focusing only on the topics that relate specifically to your business model. Start by reading, but remember to take action on what you read or else it'll never make you money. Good luck!

    Check this out for a step by step guide to starting internet marketing

    If you are more into the idea of freelance writing to make money, I have a bit of info about that in my blog.

    Just remember, for everything you read, you need to act! Don't spend forever reading, reading won't earn you money, only using what you read. Don't buy books about making money with so many free resources available. And if you have questions, you are already on an amazing forum for finding your answers about IM!

    Nice to meet you and welcom to WF! You need to start with the basics. You need a mentor to teach you the basics of Internet Marketing from getting Traffic, then Ad copywriting lessons, and then find a product or service to promote online.

    You need to acquire knowledge first to avoid common mistakes to make your journey as smooth and error free as possible...

    Many here would be ready to teach you including myself. Just be careful as you learn to not get an overload of information because there is plenty to learn in IM. There aint one lesson called IM.

    You'll need to learn a few thing such as but not limited to SEO, Website creation/design,traffic generation methods, Ad copywriting to some extent, mailing list management can also apply etc...

    The best place to start is right here in these forums. Just browse through them for an hour or so each day until you find something that fires you up. With the weekend coming up, take a few of hours to speed things up for you.

    Virtually everything you need to know is right here and completely free.

    You'll have to do a little brainstorming about what you'd like to do, and come up with your unique "game plan" but you don't have to do it all yourself - as you'll see.

      I'm a completely newbie to wordpress & internet marketing, i would like to know what is the best hosting company to go with..bearing in mind im on a budget.....iv been looking around to find the best deal but it's all a bit confusing for me as iv never done this before...:confused:....any recommendations would be most helpful.

        Hi. I would recommend Hostgator, and go with the baby plan, that should get you started

    Hostgator baby plan is great. Their hatchling plan isn't really worth it since it is only a few cents cheaper if you pay monthly and you can only use one domain. There is also a coupon code right now to get your first month for one cent.
