Ok theres only 14 days left of 2008 if your in Australia and 15 if your in the US or Europe. So what are your goals for 2009? It does not have to be I.M. related.

Ill start the ball rolling...
  1. I want to lose 20kg(i used to weigh 85 and now weigh 105)
  2. I want to begin earning $150.00 per day from I.M.
  3. I want to quit my job by September
  4. I want to buy a brand new car(Black ford focus or a black 4 door jeep)
  5. I want to take my girlfriend on a surprise trip back to her home in Dresden, Germany
And to make things a little more fun and a little more real. In 3 months time i will post a thread titled "Your Goals For 2009 UPDATE" 3 months after that i will do the same. Basically every quarter for 2009.

Anyone who replies to this thread MUST respond in 3 months time with updates on their success or miserable failure's and give us the low down on why they did or did not achieve their goal/s for 2009.

What are your goals?

            6. Keep my 4.0 GPA in College

I actually wrote an article on how to keep your New Years Resoloutions too! Ill post it.

            ---------------------------

Every year people make resolutions that they fail to keep. Intentions start good but generally fail, especially if results are not obtained as fast as expected. Would you like to be one of the few that manages to keep your resolution?

First of all it does not matter if you need to lose weight, start a business, help your kids do better in school, or learn a new language. What you need is a plan to make it happen, just saying you want to do it is not enough to make it happen. Sit down and write out your goal and several things you need in order to obtain your goal.

Now that you have your goal and you know what you need, you need to break that big goal down into smaller goals. Say you want to start a successful online business, it would be nice to skip right to the end right? But of course since you cant a first goal might be to research the types of online businesses you could do. Then the next goal might be to hire a website designer, or to create a website yourself, and so on. Mini goals are much easier to obtain and will help you keep up your enthusiasm.

Set deadlines for your goal. Keep your deadlines realistic. If you want to lose 30 pounds you can not typically do that in only a month. However if you set the goal to be 30 pounds lighter in 3-6 months, you now have a realistic goal you can reach. Your mini goals here might be 5-10 pounds lighter each month. If you get there faster then great, but at least this way you won't be disappointed if you give yourself a little more time. You do need a deadline to help motivate you to work at your goal.

You may find it is helpful to write your goals down as well. Try using a calendar to mark your self imposed deadlines on and keep the calendar where you will see it daily. Or you could set up reminders with an e-mail reminder service to give yourself the feeling of your goal being more important than just a thought you had considered doing. Another good way is to write your goals down in a journal or day planner that you keep up to date.

I guess I can have a go at it:

    1. Get self employed and make a living online. This is my top priority.
    2. Go to church every Sunday. I've missed several Sundays and I need to catch up.
    3. Drop some pounds. Though this isn't necessarily needed (I'm in good shape), I'd love to get this done.

    That's really it.

Well I actually set up a site for my resolutions, but they aren't for the new year they are for my 30th birthday which is July 4, 2010 but to ammend them for the 2009 year, it would be to make approximatly 500-600K for the year total, move into our own home, where each of my children would have their own room, see about hiring at least a part time aid to help my autistic son at home.

Also help my mother to afford life, with my newly adopted little brother. I want to be able to adopt 5 families for Christmas next year and give them each a christmas they will never forget and take our very first family vacation somewhere nice (Even if it is something as simple as going to see their grandparents for a week)

And to give back as much as I can to all the agencies and places that have helped me so much when I hit rock bottom and had to begin life again.

To hit RVP by the summer of 2009 in my company.

To make $226,200 by April 1, 2009. (I can and will do it!)

To make myself accessible to more people to help others grow their business.

To work on my time management.

To get over my fear of public speaking and start giving presentations for my company.

To get 200 recruits to add to my downline by March 22

Quitting my corporate job (finally) by March 1 and becoming a "full-time" internet marketer.

Being able to provide more resources for success for my down line team members.

For 2009, my goal is to gross 100 million in sales. For affiliate products, the figure includes the merchant's sale price, not my commission.

Sure, my wife laughed when I told her. But I said I like to aim high, and would prefer not to succeed if it means aiming low. It also helps to put it in writing, and to publicly state it. So the pressure is on.

Hit my resolution for 2007. Fell short in 2008.

I'll let you know how it works out in a year.

Of course, these goals are not specific enough, but it would take me pages to write it in full.

O.k. I couldn't pass this one up... mabye this will force me to stick with it!

I'm working out in the gym 3-4 times a week to have myself physically where I want to be, by the summer so that when I hit these Florida beaches, I won't be so embarrassed to take my shirt off (so far so good...in my mind I feel like I need to get about 10lbs leaner)

Def. go to church on a more 'regular' basis (last year there was alot of excuses, on my part, which lead to alot of "hit and miss")

Soak up as much information as I can about IM as I can, by listening, reading, seeing and applying the information.

Travel somewhere at least once a month. Including the Bahamas, Miami Beach, and Jamaica
