BBC NEWS | Technology | Serious security flaw found in IE

Personally i have not used IE in years.

"Users of Microsoft's Internet Explorer are being urged by experts to switch to a rival until a serious security flaw has been fixed.

The flaw in Microsoft's Internet Explorer could allow criminals to take control of people's computers and steal their passwords, internet experts say.

Not to be anal, but your headline is misleading. It is "experts" who are talking about switching over, not Microsoft. The person from Microsoft is quoted as saying:

"I cannot recommend people switch due to this one flaw," said John Curran, head of Microsoft UK's Windows group."
Not ragging on you or anything! But when I saw your headline, I was quite surprised that "Microsoft" was urging people to switch. That would be a huge deal indeed!

I work for a federal agency and we were locked out of the Internet all day yesterday due to this issue. They might be switching from IE soon. It was a good thing I had my iPhone !

The article is contradictory. The first bit says "microsoft urged" and then later contradicts it. I just went with the BBC title really.
