Get More Traffic Idea

Whenever I read posts on this forum about how to get more traffic, which seems to be the number one concern for many people, the replies always include Article Writing in the top 3 ways to generate more traffic.

I agree with this as I had started writing articles some while ago and wrote maybe one a week which brings regular traffic to my various sites, but not really anything to get too excited about. It seemed like one of those things that everybody said you should do, so I did. But that's changed now with a new approach that really does work..

So here's my special tip to skyrocket your website traffic and hence the payback from your articles.

I have been writing and publishing articles at the rate of about one a week since 2005. First look at some of my own statistics on articles published since 2005.

My most viewed article published in April 2005 has been viewed 12,836 times in 3.5 years with a CTR of 2.4%, yet when I applied this new approach one of my more recent articles achieved 5267 views in 4 months with a CTR of 7.5%

A massive increase in views and a 300% growth in CTR.

How did I achieve this? I started writing and publishing what people wanted to read.

Let me say that again...

I STARTED TO WRITE AND PUBLISH WHAT PEOPLE WANT TO READ!!

Before that time, I was writing what I thought was useful and interesting content (which it surely was), but my audience was looking for something else (my main niche is careers/ employment). Maybe something different, but whatever it was, my articles were only being viewed on average by 694 readers.

Now since I changed my approach and started writing and publishing what people wanted to read, I have achieved 5267 views in 4 months for one article which is a MASSIVE increase whichever way you look at it!

What did I do to create this massive growth in readership for my articles?

I turned EzineArticles.com upside down and looked for articles that people were reading and re-publishing for clues as to what I should be writing.

EzineArticles.com will give you everything you need: hot niches that people are interested in, relevant keywords and more importantly TRAFFIC!

All you need to do is browse the categories for the niche you're interested in, scrutinize the Most Viewed and Most Published articles. They actually tell you how many times a particular article has been viewed which is a real measure of its interest levels. Then all you have to do is lift the keywords and write your own unique article around the same topic.

I can feel a 'Special Report' coming on which I'll publish here (free) if anyone is interested. If you are interested, then I'll put it on sale on one of my sites separately after you've seen it.

The point here is that EzineArticles.com will give you everything you need. Its easy to say research your niche before you write articles and I agree with that, but some people struggle to find a niche they're interested in.

By simply going to EzineArticles.com home page and trawling through their categories you can soon find which niches are hot by the volume and readership of articles in each category.

Once you pick a niche you're interested in click on any article, then scroll down the page to see the 'Most Viewed' and 'Most Published' if these have a high number (right at the bottom of the page) you can be sure you're on to a winner.

Absolutely spot on advice. A system that includes all of the items in your plan is excellent.

Only problem is that nobody tells you HOW to achieve that.

And posting an affiliate link to an unranked site is hardly inspiring...

article writing sucks. Only highest possible quality article writing rocks. If you can't create something really great, its better to stay away from article marketing

    Thanks for you tips.

I've found one of the most effective ezinearticles strategies for me is to put a link in the article. For some reason most people fail to publish their article with a link in the article. Ezinearticles won't allow you to put your link in the first two paragraphs so I stick it in the third paragraph and it accounts for 75% of my clicks.

If you're not addding your link in your article, you're missing out. Try it
