My websites value

I have a website that I created at the beginning of the year. I monetized it with adsense in the beginning but then I took adsense down to market clickbank products. I left the website alone for nearly 2 months now. It's still bringing in close to 1000 visitors per month. I haven't updated it in about 2 months.

I wonder how much value it has. When I had adsense activated I was getting about $5 per day.

    Hi Bill,

    Not an expert on this but I have sold quite a few websites on Flippa.com and so on...

    I normally place the value as 10-12 months earnings from the site.

    It is hard to sell a site that is so new unless it has other qualities like it is in an awesome niche, or it has begun making a lot of money quickly.

    Once it is 8-12 months old you will have a better idea.

    However the KEY to getting good money selling a website is to make sure it is making profits before you sell.

    5 x 30 = 150

    150 X 12 = 1800

    Your website is worth how much it generates in a year which is 1800 dollars

    But perhaps people have different ways of calculating the worth of a website.
