So Hello guys, I have posted this message in other forum.. but I'm pretty sure I won't have so many good replys as here. For those who don't know me yet (and this is probally most of you guys). My name is Mario Chase.. I'm a 22 years old guy from Brazil. I'm an aspiring filmmaker.. and a very skilled web designer + web developer. So... enough with personal introductions. In 2009 I am in a personal quest for $100.000. I know it is not the easiest thing to do without much money to invest.(currently I have about $300). I'm pretending to invest most of my time in the week to make money online (about 10 hours per day). I right now am.. doing some freelance jobs in web development to gather some initial money for investments. I'm thinking about Bum Marketing to start.. and than some PPC to CPA (although I don't have much experience yet). As you guys probally know.. web design is a nice job but doesn't make anyone rich. So I have a lot of different ideas to use my skills. I even want to launch a Web 2.0 project also. What do you guys would suggest me in doing to try to reach my $100k goal in a year? Even if I don't reach.. I don't mind trying it.. anyway. I trust you guys to be serious in the responses. Thank you guys in advance for any tips.. |

One thing that I can say to you is that there are very few people that make that kind of money with just 1 product or 1 service. Try to make your plan in such a way that it allows you to make multiple products and services and/or backend products. |

Get some proper training... but you don't have the budget. So I'd recommend looking around on this forum to see what people do to make that kind of money. Personally I know from experience it is not really that difficult to make $100K if you have ther right approach and most importantly guts to re-invest a major portion of your income. That's the only way to exponentially grow. But one place that has exceptional gems for dust price is the War room... join that. Don't think twice. You need real insider info and that is where you get it all. -Lakshay |

Mario, 100K is definitely doable for anybody. The key is finding a rabid hungry market that would stomp over its young to get a solution to their problem (has to be some serious problem like debt, health, etc.) and then provide them with the solution. Market the hell out of it and watch what happens. Having said that mouthful, the actual process is involved. If you can't write killer sales copy, hire somebody who can, unless you're going to market other people's products as an affiliate. I think it's harder to make that kind of money as an affiliate marketer, but it can be done. Needless to say, you've got a long road ahead of you. But the good thing is that you have big goals. Some people start out just happy to make a few bucks. I think with a big goal in mind, you have a better chance. Make a business plan. If you don't know how, contact Bev Clement at this forum. I'd like to tell you that it's going to be easy, but I'd be lying to you. But it certainly CAN be done. Wishing you the very best. |

You can definitely make 100k in a year online but as with any business, it requires hard work, dedication and patience. I recommend you read as much as you can on this forum, you can find tons of great advice and strategies to make money online. Here's a list with some great threads from the old warrior forum: Best Warrior Threads One thing you shouldn't do though, is move from one strategy to the next. You can easily get distracted in this business and that is one sure way to fail in internet marketing. Let's say you choose to go the affiliate marketing route. Pick a niche in which people need help, find an affiliate product, create a blog, bring traffic through article marketing (you should research these steps more, I'm just giving an example) and keep at it. Don't do this for 2 weeks and then start another project because you haven't started to earn the desired income. Like I said, it takes hard work, dedication and patience. Get more educated and start developing your business. It would be great if you could raise a bigger budget through selling your web design services as a bigger budget means you can outsource the more time consuming tasks. |

advice START NOW! don't wait till january 1 to make 100g's per year you need to average $274 PER DAY, every day, 365 days next year if you wait till jan1, you won't be making that on day one, and each day will get harder "PPC to CPA" - won't work with a $300/month budget "bum marketing" - you gotta be the best to even come close to 100g a year just keeping it real. sure it "can be done" but I think it's more realistic to set a goal of averaging making $10 per day, every day, for starters. Most people can't even figure that one out. gotta crawl before you can walk or run |

100k is possible but very very unlikely. You're probably only going to hit those kind of numbers in such a short space of time either by sheer luck or clever out of the box thinking.

$100k is not that much really. I suppose if you've never done AM marketing before it would be very unlikely.

Wow.. thanks guys. So much reply in so little time. About training.. I have some really good materials. I have Frank Kern Mass Control, John Reese Traffic Secrets 2.0 and other materials. Yes. I also think it's better to have more than one products. I was looking into the Online Dating Stuff, Band Promoting area.. and other kind of products. Have to find some nice markets for me to be in. I have awesome graphic skills. So I can build up my own e-book designs with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop too. I think the necessary skills I already have.. just have to figure out how can I start using them for the best solution. |

People make a big deal out of $100k and make that their goal. The truth is, it's really only $8,333 per month. If you're a full time Internet marketer doing this for a living, you should be making at least $100,000. Just like a doctor or a lawyer, that amount should be the expected average salary for the profession. It's not really something to brag about anymore for a full time IMer. Back in 2005, I was making $100k online part time and $100k at my full time job. I was banking every dime I made at work, so it was easy to put up with their BS. The key is selling something that people want to buy, getting the offer in front of those people, and selling enough product to make $100k. Let's do the math: $30 x 10 sales per day = $109,500 per year $50 x 6 sales per day = $109,500 per year $100 x 3 sales per day = $109,500 per year There is definetely a learning curve, but it's no where near crazy to think you can make $100k in a year. The better question should be, can I offer enough value to customers make $8,333 per month. |

I think one of the biggest challenges is knowing when to start and stop different campaigns. You don't want to give up too early, but you don't want to be wasting time either on something that will never work. But, no, you are not crazy. |

The only people that think that I'm crazy are people that make $500/month.. with really hard working stuff. In 2008 I did about $10k without working a lot.. with my web desiging skills. Even did a backpack around europe. P.S: Have seen some really good guys around here from Australia too.. I'm moving to Sydney in 2009 also.

Yes I agree 100k is very doable. You will need to consistently work hard and keep promoting your websites and your products. At first it is alot of work but once you get your business started it will become much easier because you will be able to repeat the process for all your other products or affiliate products. Good Luck

"I want to make $100k in 2009. Am I Crazy?" Yes, Yes you are..... Look man, of course you're not crazy. It's great to have a goal in mind, but now you need to start buckling down and applying your steps to success. Keep learning all you can, and of course, take action on what you've learned. |

My goal...not quite as lofty is to get outta my J.O.B first so I can dedicate more time to IM. With the a proper plan, the right attitude and a little tenacity I am sure you will reach your goal. No, you're not crazy. In fact, achieving nearly double that shouldn't be a problem, believe me. It is great to have a goal, now develop specific steps to reach it!

If it is not just set to online money, you could offer your web development and web services to offline businesses? I know this probably gets mentioned alot in many threads like this, but $100k is not alot when combining both on and offline businesses. This could be achievable in less than 12 months easily if worked hard at. Too add to that, find a hungry market as steven says and market like crazy and build a list so you can market to that further down the line. I believe it is your drive and determination more than anything else that pushes you to reach $100k! Certainly more than doable! Good luck, GoGetta |

This is more than doable. Here's my recommendation. You have a goal/end result so do the following: 1) Decide on your business model (e.g. PPC -> CPA as you mentioned) 2) Create a spreadsheet with dynamic formulas so you can work 'backwards' to see what your traffic/conversions need to be (explained below) 3) Start driving traffic / set up website 4) Keep adjusting spreadsheet data (and actions) as you get real live results Potential Spreadsheet (100K = $273.97/day) ------------------------------------------- Offer | Traffic/Day | CR | Sales | Gross | Net 1 | 300 | 5 | 15 | 150 | 90 2 | xx | x | xx | xx | xx The above is just a hypothetical example but it gives you a VERY clear picture of how $100K becomes not only doable but probable (provided you put in the effort). |

I can't outsource much things right now. Thinking about doing some PPC and Article marketing.. for a good market. Need to find a market where people really need the product, as it was said in one post. I have a lot of time right now. So I can start doing stuff calmly. I was thinking that starting with some affiliate marketing (selling guys products) would be the best take now. I just don't know how good it will go.

I started with around $300 and make over $100k my first year. Like Steven said, it's all about finding a need that people have and offering them a solution. And yes I did it with one and just one product until very recently - I believe that focusing on one business and one product will get you better results faster than spreading yourself thin all over the place. |

You do need a solid plan to reach those number. Both Ron D. and Imaddict made a good point. You should try and break down the numbers to see how many sales and conversions you need along with how much traffic will be required to reach those numbers. Then you just work back wards using your plan, tweaking and optimizing it along the way till you hit your targets. Good luck, I hope you reach your goal! |

The 1st way to achieve a goal is to set a goal. Congrats you've done step 1! Next you have to believe your goal is obtainable. That one is a little more shaky from your first post... Know one can make you happy but you. Likewise, no one else can tell you whether you can reach $100,000. I can say Yes, you will absolutely achieve $100,000 in your first 10 months and take the next 2 months off. But unless YOU believe it... it doesn't make it any more real. So believe your goal is obtainable. And then you have to create a plan... ONE plan. Don't tell yourself you're going to make $100,000 by: membership sites, ebay, product launches, CPA, CPM, PPC, article marketing, video marketing, flipping websites, etc. What Business do you want to be in? If you don't have any money to get started, do article marketing and not PPC. If you don't like supporting products then flip websites instead of building a membership site. Write down every way you can think of making money and then keep cutting it down until you find the way that best fits your lifestyle, skills and financial situation. Then simply... TAKE ACTION... and never stop TAKING ACTION... ever. I know you can do it. Know tell yourself you can do it and go make it happen. Just be sure that at the end of 2009 you are not just celebrating $100,000... but you're celebrating a $100,000 "BUSINESS". McKay |

Heres what I would do and recommend you do: - Get some business cards made up with a portion of your $300 - Walk around your local shopping centre (one of the big ones) and go into every store there and pitch your web design services, you're bound to pick up a few clients this way. - Outsource all of the web development because your time could be better spent looking for more clients. - Keep doing this until you build some bank, say 10K. This shouldnt be hard although Im not sure what the going rate for a website is in your country. My partner charges 3500K in Sydney and that is probably about mid range. - Now you have some funds to play with that is more than $300. Now, this is the most important part... PICK A SYSTEM AND STICK WITH IT!!! Already in your post you want to do webdesign, bum marketing, PPC to CPA (dont even think of starting this until you have some bankroll, you need money to pour into your campaigns) and running a web 2.0 site. Pick one system and invest all of your time and 50% of your return into it.. Then... Retire Young The END! |

The visual image of people pummeling their young for a shiny new product will haunt me for the rest of my life, hehehe. Seriously though $100,000 is achievable but you have to have a solid plan to achieve it. I think it's great you're starting off the year with a goal in mind and giving yourself a realistic amount of time to achieve it. Just work out the details and set mini goals within your larger goals to gauge your progress. Quote:

Hi all I am a newbie like Mario as well. I read the entire thread and enjoyed it. My goal is similar to him as well. I know some noobs dont get a favorable response here when they jump on the site and just ask "how ?". I am in similar situation, having read the info and got overwhelmed. What I needed was something that I put all these great info like puzzles. AM,CPA,etc all excite me but without making a sale yet, its not viable to roll your $$ on these. As someone mentioned above, we need to crawl before we walk. I request all the great posters to keep your advice coming so people like Mario and us can all benefit. Thanks Rachael |

This post is very inspirational. I also have a similar goal so that I can have financial freedom to work at my leisure from anywhere in the world. My method is a mixture of online and offline; online, more blogs, eproducts; offline, following the 'cash cow' method alluded to elsewhere on the WF, and putting on IM seminars for small and medium sized businesses (SMEs). |
