OkPay The New PayPal Alt

Hi Warriors,

I wanted to post some information about a new PayPal alternative I found not to long ago called OkPay.com

Many of us in IM such as myself live outside the US and PayPal puts restrictions on other countries for receiving payments and methods used to withdraw payments.

For my latest website I set out to find an alternative that met my criteria.

First, I needed to receive payments and be able to do mass payouts without any major time restrictions, i.e. waiting 30 or 45 days to make mass payouts and getting paid myself.

Second, I wanted a service where I and my site members could easily get a debit card to withdraw funds without incurring bank wire fees.

Third was support, I wanted to get good support in a timely manner and get replies that where actually helpful. I wanted a phone number where I could call and speak to a live person if I needed.

And last I was looking for was a service that allowed multiple payment options for clients.

I looked at many different options but in all I felt OkPay.com was the best and meet all my requirements.

The signup process was very simple and verification was easy as uploading a scanned copy of a govt issued ID and a utility bill that showed my name and home address. Within one day I was fully verified. I added my website under my account and verified it by uploading an HTML file to the server just like you would with Google Webmaster tools.

So if your looking for an alturnative to PayPal, or want to be able to add additional payment options like Credit Card, MoneyBookers, AlertPay, Liberty Reserve and other without having to open an account at each one check out OkPay.com

They also have a pretty nice 2 tier affiliate program where you can earn a percentage of the transactions your signups do.

Hope this is helpful to someone.

I hope this one also gets popular just like Paypal. i think the problem with Paypal alternatives is the fact that they are still alternatives and not yet at par with PP which is enjoying a very massive user base...

Thats one reasons I made the thread, to bring attention to them, I really like them so far so I hope they get really big and becomes a well known company. PayPal has had monopoly on the payment processor business far too long.

and in my own experience does not provide good support, i think mainy due to lack of competition.
