Well, I am not sure it's a "wrong" area.

Many people offer free stuff here... the only issue is if optin is required. In this case there is no optin.

  There is a opt in on the website for a few of our free guides - but it is not required in order to download.

This could really work out well if the autoposting feature keeps working. I just started using WordBay, but there is no way to automate it that I know of. The Wordbay creator mentioned something about ebay changing their RSS feeds this summer. Do you know if this will still work then?

Good luck with the product, I shall be watching it closely I think the concept is a little different to mine though, this actually creates posts automatically?

I also started out with a free product, but went to a paying model recently - there has to be SOME benefit, you cannot support a free software product forever. I originally used (opt-in) revenue-sharing but this now contravenes EPN TOS so had to go commercial, but it's the only way long-term (at least I never figured out how to make a living from open-source!) Now my customers get better service, I invest more time in development and I get paid too!

Someone mentioned my heads-up about the new RSS feed - yes, all eBay rss-based scripts will need to move over to that asap, before the old feed gets killed off (alledgedly June 30th, though I bet they extend that). I want to post separately and warn people about that because there are some scripts out there that I know are not being supported anymore and will just die suddenly...

I see the plugin basically uses the eBay API to pull up images and the item description and creates a post from that.

Pretty nifty, but unfortunately the vast majority of users will misuse it, set up thin content sites and just leave them - those kind of sites do well for a while and then inevitably get slapped by Google and lose all their traffic - been there way too many times, and I am not talking about Panda, Google has been deranking thin affiliate script sites for years. Use with care, like any similar tool...
