How much traffic do you get to your website per submitted article?

Hi guys,

to those who submit articles for direct traffic too (not just for SEO) - how much traffic do you get per 1 submitted article? How much right after submission and how much say 6 months after the submission?

It depends on where you submit it. I'd get maybe a couple dozen clicks per EZA article. For hubpages, to which I submitted high quality articles (1000 word minimum, most were around 2500 words) I was getting a large amount of traffic. I need to look at my analytics data when I get home, but I think it was over 100 visits / day from like 15 hubs. Granted, my total hub traffic was well over 500/day. After the Panda update, I've been hurting though.

It varies with niches, where you have submitted, how many sites have syndicated the articles (are they high traffic) and/or how many sites you have submitted to, how well written the articles and author bios are and if you bookmark or link back to the articles.

I still get clickthroughs from articles that were written 4 years ago. I'm also finding that even some of my older articles are still getting syndicated to new sites and blogs which increases the chances of clickthroughs.

Today I had an article accepted on a directory and a few hours later it's already had 18 views and 6 clickthroughs, yet 2 other articles that I submitted to the same directory a few weeks ago have had zilch from it, but they have both gone berzerk on stumbleupon. Which shows that different things happen with different target audiences and different niches.

  It depends on various things. The most importants are what keyword or keywords you`re targeting, where you have submitted the article and how well the article rank in the search engines.

  My clicks vary. Hubpages do well, although the hubs I write are not just simple 250 word articles, maybe 1500 - 2500 words each. EZA would net me a few dozen clicks as well. It will majorly depend on the directory. Couldn't hurt to submit to them all though right?

From over 400 articles I average around 70 clicks per article (excludes publisher clicks). However, if you have a look below, after google panda, then Ezine Articles are no longer flavour of the month... regards Allen

Usually right around 10,000,000 visitors per 1 submitted article.

How much right after submission

Usually right around 5,000,000 visitors right after submission.

and how much say 6 months after the submission?

Usually the other 5,000,000 visitors come right around say 6 months after the submission.
