Do you ever get burnt out and wonder when the results are going to come?

What do you do to re-motivate yourself?

When I get burnt out I turn off my computer monitor and I go out for a weekend and enjoy the success I have previously achieved.

I don't wonder when the results will come, but simply know that if I have done my work properly (niche selection, keyword research, market analysis, etc) the results will arrive.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

what I do is stop thinking about the fact that I can't do it.
find as many things to do as possible and keep on pushing through.
    force yourself to do things.
about 6 years back I was dead broke, in a lot of debt, and failed miserably at everything I touched. I almost gave up... but I knew I had to do something, otherwise I'm done for...

you will only get burnt out and depressed if you stop doing it. if you fail for weeks on end, change up your strategy and try again. often times I shoot an email to a list of business owners once, and with no response I shoot a different email and the second time around I get a response. Sometimes it takes 5 tries and I will only stop when the owner of the email tells me to do so.

The only time I really get burnt out is when I'm focused on the money instead of the business.

When you focus on the business and have a real plan, it's a lot easier to keep the momentum.

When you are constantly worried about making money then you lose your end goal and that's when you get burnt out.

At least that's the way it is for me.

Treat your online business as you would in any offline business. You need to invest both time and money. Consider to outsource tasks you do not like doing or no good in doing, ie I now outsource my SEO works not because I do not know how; just that there are experts that can do a better job than I can do myself ... even with the help of softwares, and more importantly, it free up my time to enjoy the simple things in life.

LOL happens to all of us. the way I deal with it is not something I would advise anyone else to do. I do my best work under extreme pressure so i normally put my self in a position where if I fail then I fail BIG.

its that sense of panic that gets things done for me.

Like any business, you'll be lucky just to break even in the first couple months in terms of expenses and what not. However if you put the hours in and you keep at it you'll start to get better at getting sites ranked, selling people on your product etc.

Just give it time and keep working at it. The only thing that is going to keep you from succeeding is not doing the work and putting in the effort.

You can't expect results if you do not put the time in. And if you're feeling burnt out, take a day off, relax, brainstorm. The next day take the mental rest you just took and use it to have a long good day.

Internet Marketing or Marketing in general is more of an art than a Science.

    Cheers,

I know how you feel...its difficult once you are just starting. Believe me, I'm a newbie here and I'm working hard to keep myself motivated. In the end I just envision the results I will get if I keep working at it, and it works!

IMO, one of the main differences of offline & online business is the flexibilty of time that the latter gives, but as to amount of hard work & perseverance needed in order to succeed, same rules apply. Offline or online, we got to sweat it out to reach our goals.

Burn out is a real concern with im. When you first start at this game it can be trying to stay motivated. Take some time off but remember success comes with practice! Look on every step as a learning process. After I received my first hundred dollar check from CPA. I was hooked and pressed on in the good fight we call im! Keep up the success will come!

Figure out what part of your online efforts have burned you out in the first place.

See if you can eliminate those parts (by outsourcing, modifying your biz model etc).
