Text Messaging Business Experts: Looking for your help...
OK...I run an offline web design and internet marketing business and our customers are small business owners.
(restaurants, clubs, personal trainers, dentists, etc etc...)
I want to create an online text messaging service catered to this same market. I have the design and functionality of my text messaging service website already designed. (think similar to aweber but for texting)
I have one huge problem...I have NO IDEA how to get started on developing the software to have the ability for my customers to send the mass text messages from my website.
What do I need? I've spent a lot of time researching and I know I need something called a shortcode? How do I go about getting this?
Do I need a server to send the text messages like aweber needs a mail server?
NOTE: I am already aware that I can become a reseller or purchase a white label solution from another company. I'm not interested in this and I want to develop my own system.
Can anyone shed some light for me or point me in the right direction?
