Local clients legal matters

I was hoping someone who is in the offline business type could give me some advice. I want to start building some local lead generation websites to rent or sale to local businesses in USA.

However I live in Europe and don't have a company. My question is what should I do in terms of paper work to sell a site like this without having a company? I would sell them through Escrow.com for increased trust but is a contract or something similar necessary?

I would really appreciate some help on this one.

Thanks

I don't understand why you need to sell to US. Why not sell first to your local area? No one is Europe needs local directory sites?

I'm afraid businesses in my country don't undertand the importance of web presence yet. This is the reason why I want to target clients in the US.

Two shoe salesmen were scouting for business on a tropical island. The first sent back a message to the home office that went something like this: "No use, boss. Everyone goes barefoot here." But the second fellow had a different perspective entirely: "Everyone is barefoot - sales potential unlimited!"
      Food for thought

Here's a nifty Facebook Gadget you can use to supplement your income in a short time: a question of weeks only, or just use it for fun. - you’ll make a lot of friends; that’s for sure!

For you guys, who are not first generation immigrants to "America", a lot of things are lost
(Don't forget: at certain point in time ALL of you, I mean your ancestors, were immigrants to the New World: one, two, three... several generations ago)

Now, since about the second half of the 19th century, when the former colony started to become a potential economic powerhouse - for all the poor and exploited and oppressed around the world America (meaning not the continent but the US) was synonymous with the rich, the opportunity, the chance to restart... and similar ideas.

Even today, in the Hungarian slang the idiom "tiszta Amerika" (approx. absolutely America) has the meaning: it is so cool that reminds of the American way of life*. And you can find similar expressions, together with the mentality, in most of the Eastern European languages and countries. Probably, anywhere else but I know the best that region.

So, yes, from over there America still looks like a goldmine. If you cannot get here you want at least to enter its market. They don't know yet that China will buy sooner or later the whole America :p

I will be building 5 sites soon. I am planning on using local markets precisely for the reason they are untapped. New Zealand is only a small country with a small population and obviously smaller traffic but there are so many opportunities to sell here. I would re-consider selling in Europe.
