Fiverr is easy..Made $245 my 1st month

Hello how are you guys.. I don't need that $245, i just want to show you that it's not hard to make a decent little chunk of cash with fiverr if you need money.

I probably put like 10 hours of work into it, if i would of really tried hard i would of probably atleast tripled this amount.

Im kind of new here, i know the date that i joined was last year, but i really didn't become active til about a week ago.. One thing i've noticed here is alot of people talking about how they haven't made a dime with internet marketing..

Well i'm here to let you know that with fiverr it's extremely easy. Just put on your thinking cap, what i mean by put on your thinking cap is for you to grab a pen and paper and write down a service that you can provide for someone that will give them more value then the investment thay will make.
With Fiverr it's a measily $5 investment, so if you can come up with a good idea don't be surprised if you start getting a few orders daily like i am in just a month .

I hope this helps those who keep screaming "Im not making a dime!"

This is just the beginning to get your feet wet, then your belief system will grow and you will get into better things..

Alright guys i hope this helps atleast 1 person..

Gengis from Miami

Ps. is there anyone in south florida wanting to team up for internet marketing??

Gegis, you are completely on target. Fiverr is the perfect way for a newbie to see the first online dollars coming in.

It will give confidence and provide seed money for tools and trainings to make bigger, long term money.

    • Great job George.
I agree, it's a lot easier than most people think to actually make money online. They just have to look around and think logically.

Nice job Gengis and welcome to the forum!

I remember my first month. Zip. Nada!

I wasn't actually "trying" though... I was more in the "absorb as much as I could" stage. That stage lasted for about a whole 8 months before I realized I was just "reading" a lot but "doing" nothing! lol

    So yes, action is key!

Just a note to newbies to really make sure that whatever you offer on Fiverr is worth it to you in the amount of time it takes to do it. The orders will come in but spending an hour to make 4 dollars is ...not great.

And make sure you don't need that money for 2-3 weeks after completion, grumble grumble.

Fiverr is great for starting off, maybe offering submissions and services or video intros for web sites. It really is a great little idea that the guys at fiverr had. Everyone benifits in 1 way or another. Great post, thanks!

Yeah aside from the graphics people there are a lot of scammers. At 4$ per Sale you have to somehow automate it to make at least a bit of money.

I made a few $$ last month on fiverr but I changed my gig as writing 2 original articles for $4 seemed like a lot of work. I changed it to one and still got some more orders and others who are interest.

Anyway, it does work but it's also quite a bit of work if you are busy with other projects. As far as scammers go.... they are just everywhere

I only got one gig from fiverr. It's really hard, IMO, to get your gig up the top and competing with the masses of other people doing exactly the same thing, and there are loads offering exactly the same thing. Even if you hink of something different it still has to go into a category and simply cannot feature, even with over 1,000 views.

    Enjoy the journey.

Well done gengis and that is quite an impressive amount and more than I made in my first month. Fiverr is great for getting paid for micro jobs that you're good at and can complete in half an hour or less, but don't become a busy fool, make sure any tasks that you undertake don't require too much time, as some folk will have you jumping through hoops! Fiverr is not a scaleable business so, if treat it as a secondary and not a primary income. If you've got about 12 hours a week spare and it take you 20 minutes per task then, you'll be maxed out at roughly $620 a month.

I've been on Fiverr for a couple of months and made a little under $100. But, I turn around and order those crazy gigs that offer to promote a tweet (with an affiliate link) to their 14,000 plus followers. It looks hit and miss so far. But, if I ever hit on some, I'll let you all know.

Other than that, be careful on what you're offering...it's only $4 net to you, once Fiverr releases the funds. I'm putting up YouTube and Twitter backgrounds, using Photoshop - they're pretty quick and easy to do.

Yeah its easy to make money on Fiverr bu at the same time you should not offer gigs that take bulk of your time. POst few gigs that can be done quickly and invest the money into your business for long term.

I think Fiverr made a HUGE, fundamental error when they limited the price to $5. That price is EXTREMELY limiting.

They should keep the name, but change to a "starting at $5" pricing model. I think that would explode their traffic -- and profits.

Maybe, but if it became a "starting at $5" site, I actually think a lot less people would be using it.

People go to Fiverr because they KNOW what they want- an article for $5, some backlinks for $5, etc.

As soon as they raise the price range, more options = more thinking = more confusion in people's minds.

Ford once said "Any customer can have a car painted any color he wants as long as it's black."

In other words, people don't like choices! Give them one thing to choose instead.

Personally I only use Fiverr to build some cash up and then apply it to gigs I need performed. I don't look to make a ton of money at $4 a job, but instead find more value in what I can get from others. I feel that they're sometimes able to perform them better than I could and the quality of work can be worth much more than $5. I just make sure their reviews sound promising. "Good Job" doesn't necessarily mean much to me.
