Sigil ebook creator. Anyone use this can offer some help?

Trying to type up epub format of my book using this software but I can't get the editor to make the spacing correctly between paragraphs. It looks correct in the sigil editor, but once I load the page up in adobe digital editions, the spacing between paragraphs is gone.

If anyone can help it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Bump because I'm extremely frustrated. I've been searching the net for hours trying to figure out how to space a simple paragraph in what is supposed to be wysiwyg software and I just can't find it anywhere.

Really? All the help he needs is there in the FAQ Mike linked to.

          Very constructive post.

The FAQ contains nothing about page formating or commands to use to achieve desired on-page results. If a prerequisite to using the software is to be fluent in HTML/CSS programming, it kind of defeats the whole point doesn't it?

Well, I understand he wants ePub format and not pdf. Which is fine.

Apperently it is not so wysiwyg... (btw, hitting the enter for getting space usually doesn't work in decent editors)

Since the "raw material" for epub is HTML - some html knowledge seems to come handy when you need to customize your work.

Actually, in the FAQ there is a very relevant Q&A. You just need to read it:
            Google Code

In your case you just need to do the opposite: ADD some numbers instead of zero for margin(s).

Go look at their FAQ page. http://code.google.com/p/sigil/wiki/FAQ

Simply enter this in the HTML and increase the numbers
    p {margin: 0; padding: 0;}

A newly typed page contains no CSS formating (even after saving it) at all and their manual doesn't tell you how to type this up. =/

It seems to work similar to an HTML WYSIWYG editor and I'd assume simply pressing Enter a few times would write the spacing in the code, but it does not.

I guess I have to find and copy a CSS code and enter it into my page some how w/o messing it up.

i've tried using other html editors like kompozer and just copy the source from sigil and edit in kompozer. but still comes out qwirky sometimes. my biggest issue was separating pages and chapters, i know which is probably explained in the faqs but i like being spoon fed this kinda info
