Is anyone providing a 'guest blog brokering service'?

Morning everyone!

I guess a VA would probably be able to do this, but I'm wondering if there's someone already specializing in this. I'll spend the time and money to train someone if I HAVE to, but if there's a service already doing it, all the better.

I've checked out MyBlogGuest.com, but it's mainly IM blogs. I'm looking more for a service that will actively seek out the niche blogs that are related to my sites and that accept guest postings, contact them, make arrangements and then just report to me where I'm to write what.

Anyone know of anyone offering such a service?

Thanks
-Dani

What do you mean guest postings? Like blog comments or blogposts? Let me know I might be able to point you in the right direction depending on what you are looking for.

Cathy Stucker is a warrior and has a free newsletter where she lists people who offer guest posts as well as those that are looking. Her website is here: http://www.bloggerlinkup.com/

You need to make your own contacts from the info you get in the newsletter.

Yes, but that's time consuming, hence the reason I'm looking for a broker who already has a list of niche sites that accept guest articles, has built the relationships already and can, well... broker the arrangement, saving me time.

I joined that site on a recommendation from Fiverr and didn't see anything but IM stuff. I haven't seen any mention of a brokering service, but I'll go look again. TY.

        Thank you all.

Well Hello my old friend Bill,
I had considered the pricing structures that I would use if I were the one providing the service, and I thought about a flat fee, a per hour fee, or if there is actually 'brokering' (meaning that the broker is taking the time to really build up relationships with both parties to find the best match for each) a fee per successful match... but that's as far as I got... anyone else wanna chime in on the pricing idea?

Well, it would depend on whether it's a "pay for results" or "pay for time" arrangement.

If a broker could ensure a fair percentage of 'accepted posts', then charging by results would work better - as most guest bloggers might be willing to pay more.

If all the broker does is assemble a list of blogs that accept guest posts, it wouldn't be a great value add, except by saving the client some 'search time'.

Dani, I'll PM you the link to a short guide I recently put together to be part of a new program about article syndication and guest blogging - see if you like the ideas in it (and if you do, a testimonial would be very welcome )

        All success

    Dr Mani,
Thank you so much. I got your PM and I will reply by PM soon. It was an excellent read. I had a guide that gave me some information on how to go about finding guest posting opportunities, but yours just completely dwarfed that one! It was really great. Thank you for sharing it with me.

I was thinking both in terms of saving time- one nominal flat fee for access to a list of sites that accept the guest articles, then perhaps a higher price, for 'brokering' a 'best match.' Sort of like the PayPerPost Chris mentioned.

For example, let's say I wanted to get my post on a 'specific' site, on a specific day, etc... If the broker could arrange it, the broker would get paid $xx.xx for being... well I guess it would be a publicist in a niche capacity. And vice versa, if I were a blog owner who wanted a very specific subject for a post, or even a specific writer, I would pay the broker if they successfully arranged the deal.

    Somebody please invent this service!

Chris, I thought to myself that if I couldn't find this service I might start it. Yesterday, I put together a guide for training a VA to do it for me, in case I couldn't find a service. If I can find someone to build the site for it, I might go ahead and offer it sometime in the future. I would base it on the price structure above, but I would still have to figure out the 'publicist' fee for the actual brokering part. As soon as I push some of my peas to the right and potatoes to the left, I'll add this to my plate.
