Hi guys. I believe it's bad to cross link your sites with the same isp account.

How many of your sites can you like to, with the one hosting account, before there's a problem.

Also, is there a way you can have different isp's with the same hosting account... or do you need to buy different hosting accounts?

    Hi
ISP means internet service provider; Are you maybe talking about the host's IP ?

For seo purposes a backlink from the same IP is not valuable as a link from a different IP, if i've understood your question correctly.

Yes, that's what I mean. I understand that you can be peanalized if you link a lot of your sites to each other on the same isp.

Is the only solution to have lots of hosting accounts... or can 1 hosting account offer a service that makes it appear that your sites are a different isp?

    thedog,

There is a theory that you can be penalized if you link a lot of your sites together ******REGARDLESS******! I don't see how ISP could have ANYTHING to do with it. There are a couple hosting companies that control a LOT of the market! ****HOW****? They keep gobbling up all the others. So just TRY to keep them on separate providers. TOMORROW they may be ALL the same company. Heck, at LEAST FOUR companies I hosted with are now the SAME! Oh, and the TINY nothing companies? MOST host at one of the bigger companies. Google probably wouldn't know the difference, much less care. It is STILL the same main provider.

So, it's ok to have your sites, on the same hosting provider, linking to each other?
