I am thinking of starting a membership site based on PLR products and IM. I was wondering if I could get some professional opinions on what types of services/products you would find worth while in a PLR membership.
I have come up with what I think would be some good points, but again I am hoping to get some more ideas. Thanks in advance

Here's what I came up with:
  • Forum - allowing only members to discuss IM,JVs, PLR, or anything else involving MMO.
  • Social/Chat network - Allowing members to display public profiles of their work, affiliate links, opt in forms, etc. This will be viewable by all, not just members. This gives our members a hosted place to drive traffic to.
  • Searchable PLR Database - With over 200,000 PLR products w/ more every month. Fully search able, user friendly database. Keyword driven searches, niche categories search, etc.
  • PLR Voting System - This voting system will allow members to vote on all of our PLR products, letting others know which products are top this month and allowing us to know which topics to cover in our unique packages.
  • FAQ's section - Our FAQs section will include an area for members to actually ask questions and they will be posted by most frequently asked. Our moderators and other members are free to answer these questions. (each answer is allowed one sig link. Answers will be moderated so just posting links isnt going to work )
  • Tutorials Section - This section is great for the IM/PLR/MMO noob! We will offer video, article and ebook style tutorials on IM, PLR, MMO, etc. Tutorials will include how to setup and monetize the PLR products we offer.
  • Instant Download links - All of our PLR products will have instant download links available.
  • Unique PLR Packages - These will be 100% unique and made by our team. They include:

    Sounds like you have thought a lot about this project. This seems like a really big effort. How about starting out with a free membership site for a few products and tutorials. When you get the traffic coming with people opting in to belong, you can add some products for sale. Forums are great for sites with tons of members but I've seen too many that were not well maintained and kept current. I'd leave that off at first and fulfill the need for community with a comment section.

    Oh course this is only my opinion.

      Thanks a lot Carol I really appreciate your input on this. We are planing on have a free demo of our membership up and running to help build our list. This demo will have all the available features and a few select free PLR downloads so you can experience our membership benefits first hand at no charge. We have def. considered the work it will take for a forum but maybe your right, to start out with low members a forum doesn't do much. But we are hoping that the review copies and our staff will help to make it a great members only forum. We are hoping to keep our membership down, but we may also offer a credit based purchase level on the products instead of a monthly payment. This will allow those who just want to grab a few PLR products each month to do so without having to pay the membership fee. These members will only have access to our database nothing else.
