Is there an online solution?

I searched but everything on the first page looks like garbage.

Keepass is great, but only if you don't use more than computer
computer. As for me, I use a Linux & Windows computer, so for one,
it's not compatible (keepass) with Linux. So, I would recommend the
firefox addon, LastPass. It's great, versatile and can be used on any
computer of yours as long as it allows Firefox to be ran.

Yes. When you login to your cPanel, then it asks
to be saved to your LastPass vault.

                I agree..

Roboform is like a god send.

I had the software for over a year now
                and never had a problem.

The software is a must have.

Yeah, roboform is good. But, I started using the password management that came with my Norton antivirus software, and I like it a lot better than roboform. So, now that's what I use instead.

I've been using Roboform for years and would be absolutely lost without it! I bought two copies to use on my two computers and they also have Roboform Everywhere so you can access all your passwords online.

That said, I recently read elsewhere on this forum that they're now moving to an annual subscription model instead of one-time payment not sure if that's an issue that affects your decision.

    Problem solved!

Just kidding, but talking about passwords, I use pass phrases, like "Ibuy1icecream"

Much easier to remember and unlikely to ever make its way into a rainbow table.
You could also build the phrase around the theme of the website to make it more memorable and allow you to use different passwords on all your sites

    Cheers,

    Manuel

I use this simple trick to create a strong pasword which could be remembered easily. You can also create as many unique password as you want.

    <word>*<number>*<wild>
    * = any special character
<word> = apple, your name, your company name, etc.
<number> = birthday, id number, etc
<wild> = could be anything. number, site name,

<word> and <number> can remain unchanged.
All you need to do is change the <wild> each time you need a password.

    eg.
    JohnDoe*777*wf for warriorforum
    JohnDoe*777*dp for digitalpoint
    JohnDoe*777*twitter for twitter
    etc

    You could also try:
    <number>*<wild>*<word>
    <word>*<wild>*<number>

I use LastPass for all my password management. There's very few things it can't handle.

LastPass is free (unless you want mobile support) and runs on Windows, Mac, Linux and all the major browsers, ie: FF, IE, Safari, Chrome and Opera.

I've been using 1Password for the last 4 years. It this time it has worked well with pretty much every site including CPanel.

In four years of use the only sites I've found it does not work with are sites which use flash based login pages (in my experience there are very few sites very few sites using a Flash login page).

1Password is available for both Mac and PC platform. (My experience of 1Password has been with the Mac platform).

Will Roboform and/or LastPass, store user name along with passwords.
I am actually looking for a program that can manage the desired URL address, user name and password, if there is such a thing. If the access to this is web based it is all the more better. Would appreciate any recommendatiion of a free or paid program which can store URL, UserName and PassWord. Thank you in advance

The version of Roboform that I use does all this and you can get Roboform everywhere for web access. Not sure about LastPass as I haven't used it yet.
