Which is best for a PLR product? Sell or giveaway?

Hey guys,

I need some help here. On my personal blog below, I have included an unrestricted PLR product which I've attached it on my autoresponder. Currently, I set it as a free product for my subscribers.....but I noticed that in order to have a real buyers list I must have a paid product (even PLR).

Which one do you think is better? Sell or giveaway?

I'm still getting started though with my list...totally fresh and new.

Thanks!

Jeff

Jeff, what you do with a specific PLR products depends on your goals.

    • If you want to build a list, use it for getting subscribers.
    • If you want to make money from direct sales, sell it.

You need to make sure though that the PLR is worth selling.

No matter which of the 2 you chose, 1 PLR product will not do much for building your business. You need to make a plan for monetization.

Probably the best way to do this is to build a list and promote affiliate products to that list. One PLR product will not generate enough sales, unless you get good JVs and have a killer product. Both unlikely with PLR.

So the way to go is to make your short to mid-term monetization plan and then decide what to do with that specific PLR.

How can I build a list and promote affiliate products if I had no product at all? I'm really tired of writing another eBook or simple report for myself. I really don't like to spend money anymore, coz' I'm losing already and might end up find an exhausting job to survive.

We'll looks like my PLR product and my hours of setting this up is not really worth it, go back to square one.

A give away will help you build a list if that is what you are interested in - if that doesn't fit what you want to do then, I'd recommend selling the PLR product.

Be sure you are aware of the rights of the products. PLR doesn't mean you can do whatever you want with it.

There is restricted and unrestricted plr. Restricted is the most valuable and highest quality and is easy to sell.

Even if you give away your PLR product for free, that doesn't guarantee you are building a list of people who won't buy from you later. A free report or ebook is an excellent way to build a list. It's important to begin building trust from your subscribers the moment they give you their email address. A free, high quality gift is your way of saying thank you and that they can expect quality stuff from you in the future.

When you build a list using a free product that's exactly what they will continue to look for, free products and the odds of converting them a buyer is small. Rather sell your product for cheap even if it's $1, the important point is that they've committed their wallet to you, a small committment but one you can build further sales from.

Another way to build a list of paying customers is to offer your product to affiliates for 100% commission. Yes you give away the initial sale but on the back end you could do a OTO.

It's unrestricted as it was included in other files of the product.

We'll, at least I know it's not worth for me. I do have a free short report about ways to make money online, but it's on my desktop that is still under repair. If I really want to sell a product, it needs me to create 20 to 30 pages of content which actually is one of my weaknesses.

So instead of giving away a free product, I should sell it for a cheap price? In that case, I need to create a unique method like the WSO's which I totally suck on creating it. And of course, I really want to spend money coz' I'm losing due to bills at home.
