2 languages on 1 domain?

I have a WordPress-based domain using English in all posts. This domain has ranked pretty good for most keywords I target. Now I'm considering posting a new article using a different language other than English since this keyword is one of the keywords that I target. My question is:

Would it be disadvantageous for the position in Google search result for the other English keywords that have ranked so high (1 to 5 in the first page of Google result)?

Please kindly advise since I'm really worried about this issue...

Thanks in advance.

    No - why would it?

You can rank for LOTS of keywords. Ranking for new (foreign) ones has nothing to do with the existing ones and may even support your 'authority' if google are aware that they're related and just another language.

Many CMS systems have a language translator built in so that people can choose their language. It's not going to hurt you but if you're really worried - just make another site that is specifically for that language.
