I have a forum site with low activity and low number of registrations. I am going to offer 20 free PLR ebooks for lurkers who register and make at least 10 posts.

My forum is an automotive forum but I am going to offer general ebooks .

Is this going to work?Is it possible to triple my registration rate using this method?

Thx

This could work but why would you offer them 20 general books? If you know they are interested in automotive, give them ebooks about that.

If want to go this way, at least offer the books that would appeal to your audience (whatever kind of car buyers they are). People looking for Camrys might not be interested in IM, you know what I mean? You can't throw everything at the wall and see what'll stick lol.

If you had the time/funds you could rewrite them to relate to car related topics. Instead of an ebook on "food", changing it to "foods to eat in the car", etc.

I'd personally scrap the ebook idea if I couldn't give them something they could use. Then I'd go back and think about why visitors would want to join a community like that, maybe 5-10 concrete reasons, and brainstorm from there.
