re: how to handle my customer service and va

Hey,

So I think I'm getting to the point where I need to outsource my customer service now which is great. So I found myself VA (but not used yet) and started the zendesk trial.

At the moment in my autoresponder, all emails are coming to my personal email address.

I setup a support@ address and also so that when an email was sent to that address a ticket was opened in zendesk.

Problem is, when autoresponders go out and people are out of office, it automatically emails me so that would open a ticket for each 'out of office etc'

I want to be able to get personal emails to me, but a lot of people are responding to autoresonder messages for customer service and sending me emails so it's a bit of a mixed bag.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how best to outsource and manage this with my new ticket system / aweber etc.

Thanks

Simon

Zendesk can usually filter many of the out of office replies out automatically.

should be able to setup a filter for 'out of office' - that should handle most of them anyways.
