You Don't Need Me To Make You Look Like A Fool...

You have gotta hand it to Bugs Bunny for cutting through the crap quickly.

If you want to avoid being seen as the fool in the room, consider this advice:
  1. Don't ask the question if you don't want to hear the answer.
  2. Don't argue with people whom you have asked for help.
  3. Don't ask people to do for you, what you are unwilling to do for yourself.
  4. Don't expect that every shiny widget you buy can be employed without effort on your end.
  5. Stop believing in fairy tales. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
  6. Don't assume that you will achieve the same results as the person who taught you the method.
  7. Don't assume that because you failed, the person who taught you must have been lying.

What have I missed?

Unicorns are real! When I was a kid, we had a neighbor who saw one in her backyard.

He was born in a wagon with a horse with no name.
Soon, the horse was put down because his feet were all lame.
The other grew up, went online and got himself fame.
As for the rest of the tale, it's pretty much the same.

ROFLMAO DAN! Where Bill is concerned though, I think limericks are more appropriate.

There once was a guy named Bill Platt
          Who wasn't exceedingly fat
          Though his bank account soared
          He never was bored
And that's all I know about that

"Bill be nimple, Bill be quick, Bill jumped over the candlestick"

"Bill and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.
Bill fell down and broke his crown, and Jill came tumbling after."

      LOL Good point.

But even if you are outsourcing, wouldn't you need to put "some" effort to get the outsource person on the right path?

I just can't make that one work
It's editing the bad word in the url, you need to rename the file.

You should have got the upsell. That could make double that in half the time just by clicking your mouse 3 times.

On the upsell of the upsell, you could do it with just one click of your mouse through the pro version.

I could not get the pro version though because it was $47, so I just spent $37 on the normal version. I heard from someone though that if you leave the upsell page of the upsell, you can get the pro version with a $10 discount... if only I had known.

You can. Those months are January, 2013, April 2054 and July 2067. Unfortunately, if you miss one, the whole system fails and you get nothing...

    2. Don't argue with people whom you have asked for help.

I can't tell you how many times I've thought that in various chats in recent months.

If you only want people to tell you how great it is, then just say, "I'm only sharing this so you all can lie to me and stroke my ego a bit." Don't go wasting our time by pretending that you're asking for a real opinion or feedback and then get defensive or shoot down every suggestion or idea people have!

And here's another one for your list:

Don't turn every perceived slight into a vendetta. Often, the "slight" is just a disconnect in communication or interpretation. And even if it IS a slight, get over it. Going around trashing someone or reporting them for every little thing they do just makes you look like the ass.

Bill I figured after such a great post that the least I could doo is spice it up a little for you.

You can now print it out and place it on car windows, street signs, buildings or what ever you choose.

    Have a Great Day!
