Anyone know of any good multi-level commission programs/products?

SOC is one of the few MLMs that I consider to be a
good thing with the internet. MLM online is awkward.

If you love MLM it's better to do it offline in my opinion -
why is a big topic. I've written a lot about it. Basically
it's a costly and tedious way to build a sales force because
the internet is always offering newer, sexier MLMs to
your "team" and they quit and go elsewhere.

In a local organization context you can "guilt trip" your
team. As ugly as it is that's a legitimate management
technique for getting salespeople to do the work.

Its much harder to pull a guilt trip with email. So
when you don't have bonds of geography and friendship
holding your group together it falls apart easily.

With MLM you put money in the front hoping for a
monthly income later when your "team" gets big
enough. It's easy to get caught up in enthusiasm
for it and not crunch the numbers.

Basically - expect to go into debt for awhile because
you won't see your costs recouped until you have
distributors buying every month for 8 months or more.

Read Dan Kennedy's "Prospecting Sucks" if you don't
believe me.
