Please review my membership website, give your honest feedback!

Fellow Warriors,

Please review my membership website. Give me your honest opinion of the site and product.
What do you think of the home page: http://backpainhelp.us

And what do you think of the sales page which comes up after you opt-in: Start Today |

What do you think of the presentation of the product. Is it something you would buy or promote?

There might be something I could add or remove.
I created this site and the video series with my personal trainer and a yoga expert friend. I've spent endless hours just to get ready for the public. The site could use some good critic from you experienced warriors here

I would appreciate your feedback.

Thanks,

Howard

    Hello Howard

First off, I think your website design is very good. I like the color and the layout.

I actually suffer from lower back pain myself but I wouldn't pay $97 to get your or anyone's help. I may pay $47 but, then, I'm a low paid worker. People with money WILL pay $97. You just have to advertise to them. People like me would appreciate, say, a free first month.

I couldn't see any Meta Tags for your site so I don't know what keywords you're using to get into the SE's.

I'm not sure what advantage there is in joining your $10 per month membership. The main benefit of your site is the Video instructions, which look very good indeed. And I haven't seen clearly what extra benefits I get from becoming a monthly member.

Also, when I click on a link under 'Members Area' I think it would help if you put up a big sign to say that "in order to see this page/video you must join" - and insert a big sign-up form rather than just showing the same video as is on your sales page and expecting your readers to look around and try to guess what is happening here.

$97 sounds a lot in today's economic climate but it really depends on the type of customer to whom you are marketing. Those with less money would appreciate a free trial of some kind. Those who HAVE money would find it a 'no-brainer'. Your choice of keywords will reflect this, no doubt.

Finally, I notice that there is no incentive to join your list. I think it would help if you could offer a free ebook or a shortened version of you first video to entice people to sign up to your program. Then you can follow them up with emails to get them to become members and/or monthly subscribers.

    I hope this helps

    Best Wishes

    Joe

    Some quick, honest feedback...

    1) Your site looks very ordinary for a product that charges $97 a month (I'm assuming that's the price from the previous poster's comments - there was no way for me to find out what it costs, or at least I couldn't figure out a way to get to the price :-). Not good if people can't find your buy button.

    2) I kept clicking on "Click here to start" and it wasn't working, only to realize that the tiny, long, ugly tube like thingy, is actually a sign-up box to enter my email! Never seen a sign up form field as ugly as that one :-) LOL!

    3) Sign up form doesn't say whether I get anything in return for giving you my email id, so most people won't sign up.

    4) Am I supposed to enter my email id even before you show me your product details, pricing, bonuses etc? You're going to kill conversions by forcing people to opt in to see your sales page

    5) The site has absolutely no authority. I do have a bad back, but would never buy it. It doesn't say anything about why you two are "experts", why I should listen to you, why I should pay you (the exercises you show are very basic things that I already know about , or can find for free online - so why I should I pay? No customer testimonials, no authority, no convincing, etc.

Overall, on a scale of 1-10 for sales pages, I would give you a 4, just for the effort, the willingness to do something creative, and for a pretty decent video with decent music.

    Hope this helps.

There's a lot I could say here, I think you're getting some direction.

    I'll say this:

    (1) Your site looks like the typical ClickBank product site. Consider a completely different approach. Have a personal video from a back pain sufferer. The alternative is to make it look like a high-end doctor offer;

    (2) Rethink your offer, specifically the pricing. Test offering the first video for $1 then 2 to 3 payments of "x";

    (3) Consider having a supplement as your recurring product versus a membership.

        First things first.

You envisioned what you wanted to do and did it. Believe it or not that's a pretty big accomplishment.

You'll learn more from your own experiences--your success and failures--- than you will by reading about other peoples.

With that being said lets get down to business.

        I. Theme-- Your using the base twenty-ten theme which isn't a bad looking theme and is definitely an improvement over Kubrick but its not giving you any visual flair. Consider these three options.

        a. Grab a theme from Theme Forest. They have great looking themes that will give your site a more professional appearance.

        b. Use ProfitsTheme-- ProfitsTheme allows you to make squeeze, sales, blog, and membership pages. It's very powerful and even has built in membership capability.

        c. Use Optimize Press--Similar to PT but I don't believe it has membership functionality.

II. Video-- Think about incorporating some of these suggestions into the video.

        a. During the intro tell the audience why they should listen to you. What have you done that qualifies you to help them relieve back pain.

        b. Start the video with one of your satisfied customers telling how your program relieved them of their back pain. You can also have these "video testimonials" sprinkled throughout your presentation.

        III Miscellaneous

        a. E-mail Submit Form--- You wrote this...

To Access the videos and start the 12 week program, Enter your Email
It might just be me, so I'd like additional opinions, but it sounds like if I enter my e-mail address I'll get access to the videos not a sales page. I kinda understand where you were going with that but it could be conceived as deceitful. You don't want prospective customers thinking that.

Instead think about offering a free report or a video that demonstrates one of the exercises and why it (and the others) are helpful to relieve back pain.

        b. If you're not going to use the comments turn them off.

        c. Talk a bit more about the benefits of the $10 monthly membership. You hardly mention it.

        That's all I got.

        Hope it helps.

It's late and I'm hitting the sack.

Firstly, this is great. I suffer from back pain. I'd definitely buy something like this for $47. And you'd probably get me to $99 with an upsell. If not right away, I'd soon "upgrade".

I'm not a marketing consultant, so I'm not trying pitch or push you toward anything. I've got nothing to gain from the following advice. I'm in the language learning niche. I've realized piecing things together (from advice and marketing information online) isn't as effective as either finding a proven person or a program and following through with it.

Now, here's what I would do (if I were you). I say this very respectfully, there are a LOT of holes in your marketing / website. Instead of trying to piece everything together from advice, hire a "proven" marketer here on the warrior forum. Maybe get a two hour consultation or even hire them as a project manager.

These guys are phenomenal at Internet marketing. They'd turn that site into a well oiled money making machine. Your product IS something worth investing a little bit of money in. This is a money maker, no doubt.

Alternatively, if you really want / need to DIY, I'd recommend looking into Eric Louviere (and his program Job Crusher). He's a proven and well known good guy here on the Warrior Forum.
