Anyone Else Getting Skype Spammed?

INTERNET MARKETING

Some guy got my Skype ID from Warrior Forum (idk where else he would have gotten it) and we wound up having an awesome conversation.

Anyone else getting spammed via Skype or anything like that because of details posted up on WF? He sent me a message that was obviously C/P to everyone he sends it to.

  Do they try to send you to male porn sites? or get you to sign up for dating sites?
  
  They are not spamming you, they may be hitting on you, but it's the guys that are getting spammed.
  
  Enjoy the attention or block them but just be glad they are not trying to con you so they can make a quick buck. Google "e-whoring" and you will see what I'm talking about.

I don't think it's spam, but there are sure a lot of naked women wanting me to do video chat with them. ;-)

I, of course, refuse, but I guess they must find my skype avata irresistable or something.

  yes there is, you can change the options that you can receive messages only from people on your contact list!

Doesn't really matter if you are a male or female - the e-whores are just as enthusiastic about both. (I suspect many of them have no idea of whether a particular name is male or female - the rest of them probably don't care.)

The women do get a few extra 'wanna cybersex' types, though. :rolleyes:

The privacy setting is the way to go. Anyone who wants to contact you can, but first you have to approve them.

  If anyone sends me a Skype message without previously getting permission to Skype me by email, phone etc I immediately right click on the sender
  
  BLOCK USER.
  
  I find that keeps my Skype pretty clear!
  
  Just never use Skype as your first method of contact and it can be a very valuable communication tool.

If I leave my Skype running I get anonymous women wanting me to look at their naked pics at least twice a day! Where else can you get that attention? haha keyword rich text links how thoughtful.
