Feedback needed for my homepage!

I like it, simple but it works. I think you could monetize way better than you have but it's good you don't have too many ads.

Is it a game or what? If it is a game I guess you need to tell is for Facebook, iPhone iPad or?

Its a game for the PC.

The site could do with some different styles of monetization. Other than that is is good.

Where could I put the ads though?

I didn’t know what the site was for when it appeared. You need to make it clear it is a PC game. It needs a graphical header and some font changes to make it more appealing – make things more colourful – like the game.

Then give a brief explanation of what the game is about. What type of game is it etc.. The “What is minecraft?” and “How do I play?” should be at the top of your content before anything else.
I think the advertisement banner is out of context with the site – who is thinking about storage when they want to play a game? I would move the banner to another position and promote something else with it, although I wouldn’t concern yourself too much about monetizing it yet – just concentrate on the site for now.

Think about shrinking the size of the graphics on the left side – they’re too big and as they’re not of a high resolution it will make them look more appealing if they’re smaller. I’m assuming you lifted them straight from the game? If so, I would create better one’s using a simple paint program, they wouldn’t be hard to reproduce even if you have no graphic design experience.

Other than that, you have laid the foundations for what could be potentially a good site. You’ve got all the essential elements there, you just need to spruce it up a bit and organize the layout a bit better.

So congratulations – you’ve done all the hard work getting it to where it is, now it’s just a case of tweaking it here and there. Don’t try to dive in and change everything all at once – you’ll just get bogged down trying to do too much at once. Pick one thing that you’re going to do – say the header graphics – and stick to that until you’re happy with it – then focus on the next thing.
I bet if you come back for a review in a couple of weeks time it’ll look like a totally different (and better) new site. Good luck! I look forward to reviewing it when it’s done….

Yes, on first thoughts I would have no clue what this site is about. As it happens I know what Minecraft is, others may will not.

Header image needs work for sure.

The reason why the images are pixelated is cos Minecraft is!
And I shall try and improve it!
