Solo ad vs. Ad swap - Why the conversion difference?

Hey Warriors,

I noticed lately that my squeeze page was converting around 20% lower for Solo Ad traffic when compared to Ad Swap traffic...

I found this odd because I use the same swipe for both.

I recently got my highest conversion percentage of 66.27% and that was from adswap traffic.

But my solo ads are converting at only about 45% and I'm not sure why...

I know something people mention redirects and stuff with solo ads, do you think that is whats happening? The sellers are reputable so I don't think it's anything like that...

But what could it be? Any ideas?

    Could be the quality of the solo ad traffic.

    It's all a question of the traffic source, since that may be the only different parameter since you use the same swipe file.

    These are reputable SOLO ad sellers, I'm not sure whats going on...

    I would think ad swap traffic would be lower quality?

    Coby, here's why.

    1. Be careful from who you buy the solo from. Some folks just don't have a high enough quality traffic

    2. Most of the folks who sell solos on frequent basis, use generic swipes and subject lines such as:

    Free gift for {email}
    Congratulations {!name}
    You've been granted access {name}
    etc...

    And the email body is also generic. So when your link hits the promised amount of clicks, they just re-direct it elsewhere. In adswaps, this thing usually doesn't happen
    and folks use your swipe to pre-sell the click...

    There you go

    igor,

    how do they "redirect" once the email has been sent?

    And the question of why the conversion is higher has nothing to do with how many clicks it gets and then having traffic directed elsewhere.

    Alexander Alaric - social media updates. Seeing a test and good results from Fap Turbo.

      He means they redirect the traffic from the email to another landing page once the number of clicks you've paid for have been exceeded. Not redirected on your own landing page somehow to another page.

      They use a cloaking service to redirect the link when they want

      and it DOES matter what you say in the subject line and in the
      email body copy. It affects conversions GREATLY!

      I've been doing extensive email marketing for 12 months now
      and tested plenty of variations. Trust me when I say it - email body
      copy matters.

      Period.
