Upsell/Backend Product Ideas Needed...

Hey guys - I'm currently in the process of creating a Wordpress plugin that allows users to easily set up their sales funnel quickly and have it look professional.

I plan to sell this at a low price point to add more buyers to my list... my question is, what can I offer to this buyer as an upsell or backend product?

I'm struggling with this but I know I can make more money off this. Any suggestions would help!

    Offer another feature with your upsell. It doesn't have to be absolutely necessary but just make it a nice feature that people will be tempted to add on to the order. A good idea to start with could be adding more design options for the user that promises better conversion.

      Hey Steven... thanks for the suggestion... I just don't want the buyers to think the stand-alone plugin won't offer good conversions. I thought about offering custom graphic packages as an upsell.

      Where they could get a logo, header and other graphics created to fit my templates. Of course I wouldn't be doing the design work but would take a cut of the profit. What do you think about that?

    How about selling or giving them a "free Report" that they can use in the sales funnel as a one time offer that leads to an up-sell of one of your own products that they can also be an affiliate for.

    I think an excellent upsell would be training on what makes a good sales funnel. Inexpensive front end, low/high price continuity program, mid-price upgrade/related training, high ticket done for you or all inclusive training. Whatever you've had the most success with and feel should be taught. There are a number of ways to set up a sales funnel.

    If I'm willing to buy a plugin that makes it easy to set up my sales funnel, I'd certainly be willing to buy some training on what makes for a good sales funnel even if I only got one good idea out of it.

        Any of these will serve to maximize your revenues from the back end of your wordpress plugin offer.

    All the training people are telling you to use as an upsell should instead be used to get people to buy your original product. Maybe hold a webinar with some marketers and talk about sales funnels and how to set them up and then sell people on your plugin.

    I'm not about to go and buy a car until I have learnt how to drive...
