Maybe I am missing something... but why would anybody need a plugin to create a simple squeeze page? (not to mention, why do you need WP for a squeeze page? - you can make it in max. 10 minutes in a simple html editor...)

That's very true! But using wordpress would be better for seo purposes.

Wordpress is not better for SEO purposes and I'm not sure why people keep saying this. I can SEO a regular html squeeze page a lot quicker than any Wordpress page. Wordpress actually has quite poor SEO straight out of the box unless you add and properly configure some additional plugins and settings.

Wordpress also adds a lot of unnecessary code and scripts, etc behind the scenes that slow everything down, especially when all you want to do is create a simple squeeze page.

I agree that some people may not be up to the task of creating their own simple html squeeze page and for those people, yes, Wordpress is going to make things a lot easier. That's not to say it is the most effective way of doing things though.

Wrong. People who don't know enough WP keep telling untrue stuff about that script...

I starting using the Profits Theme on my sites... I really like for creating squeeze and sales pages, and they look great.

You don't need a plug-in you can do this with slight modifications to certain themes...

For example, you can use the weaver theme and choose to not show the footer, sidebar, or page links. This makes it looks just like a normal squeeze page, but you can use all your fancy plug-ins to do whatever, video pop ups or whatever.

    Good Luck
