I need a software that will record my webcam and then allow me to record my screen simultaneously? I want people to see a real person is behind the how-to videos I intend on creating.

    You can use Camtasia. Although it isn't free, it's
    well-priced for what you get.

    you can use CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software

    While your webcam is on, make sure you can see yourself on monitor, turn on camstudio and record everything on screen. This will record your webcam as well. This works absolutely fine for me.

    Alternatively there was a WSO...err I don't remember the name of the person you can search the WSO section, he was providing a software which is exactly same like camstudio with better options for just 5$ so do checkout that.

    camtasia looks like what I need... I just wish it wasn't so expensive! hahaha oh well! We'll see.....

      For what Camtasia does and the value it allows you to
      create, it is not really expensive.

      Maybe, you're just being cheap!

        I'm not THAT cheap hahahahaaaaa just probably can't afford it THIS month so the 30day thing is good. I budget around $500 to put into my marketing efforts each month and turn a bit of a profit, I'm looking to amp up my game and put some direct effort into things. So, with that $500, budget I wouldn't call myself cheap especially considering just about everything I earn from marketing I just re-invest.

    My vote goes to camstudio. I think it is free and easy to use software. You have to select the portion of screen which you want to record then start recording. Very easy....
