very confused, can you help?

Hey,

Okay, so I have a list of about 8,000 in the diet niche and I thought that my list wasn't very responsive, but took a few tips from a recent popular seminar and got my best ever open rate and click through which is great - now my list is mostly UK based but I'm a bit confused....

The offer is pretty much the top on clickbank and I put through pretty much 1000 clicks and only generated 8 sales...

I'm really confused... They opened, they clicked, they showed interest, but why didn't I get a much better sale rate?

For clickbank 1,000 and 8 sales is not all that bad. Like 'jodib' stated "you need to build a relationship with your list" a great way to do this is create a small 3-4 page e-book and give it too them for free. Send out emails just to remind your list that you are there to help them and that they should email you with and questions they may have.

Once you build trust and a good relationship they will be hungry to buy any products you throw at them.

P.S make sure the products are good, if they buy a product which is a waste of their money they are likely not to buy form you again so do your research.

Your sales conversion rate will depend upon the source
    of your traffic.

Also, your conversion rate will also depend upon how well
your e-mail follow-up series has pre-framed them to buy.

What have you done to build the relationship with your
subscribers and get them into the habit of buying too?

Have you been sending your subscribers offers to buy
from you before or have you just been sending them
    content so far?

If the later, you may have conditioned them not to
    buy.

What is your average conversion rate for all traffic
    sources?

    Dedicated to mutual success,

      Yeah relationship building is key.

Wait a week later and send the offer again and you'll most likely make eight sales or more.

This is a tactic that some do --with good results.

Because they're all people who've seen your sales page before? I'm guessing, but that might account for it.
