hi, i have a question please, does twitter lists can be profitable like an email list? what the conversion rate u can expect from twitter lists versus email lists, I'm now building 100K plus big lists per month, so probably in a half a year ill reach to millions in total or maybe more... now i have 1200 members in my lists, pretty targeted and i see like 0 results, but maybe it's because my list is too small... i target the visitors via keywords so they are targeted... but still my results so far are pretty lousy, give me your thought on this one please.

I've found a lot of followers on twitter aren't really that targeted. They tend to follow you so they get a follow back and a lot of software is automating this. I actually closed my personal twitter account down for this reason as everyone seems to be pushing crappy spammy offers. I had over 3000 followers and they didn't seem very responsive.

I have also built lists up in different niches and during any testing my email lists have always converted better.

Email has come out on top during my testing, hench the closing of my personal twitter account.

Think people find reading emails more personal if done correctly.
But give them both a try and see what works for you. But try and move them over to your optin email list and market from email.

An email list destroys twitter followers as far as a money-maker. There's no question. You have to have a lot of twitter followers that legitimately want to follow you to make good money from Twitter.

I think twitter list is more effective than email list. At twitter you can gain massive followers. Not just your followers but the followers of your followers have the possibility to follow you.

It's about the quailty of the list, not about how many you can reach. You can make far more money on a quailty list of 800 buyers, then 10,000 followers on twitter.

But I would recommend, split-test it. Get some data behind your ideas.

Email generally outperforms twitter by at least 50-to-1.

Twitter can perform well, but people won't see everything you send there, even if they want to follow you.

On email, the people who want to follow you are more likely to see your messages.

A small responsive email list worths more than a lot of huge twitter accounts.

Any marketer will tell you that email is the most profitable part of their business.

I have not tried this myself but have work with some clients on Twitter accounts.

The only thing that the people on Twitter will respond to is a Webinar. Whatever you do don't send them to a squeeze page. That is dead meat.

Also, they are not readers. You can write the best report in the world and they won't download it. Their mindset is 140 characters.

My guess is most of them are sitting in the office waiting for the boss to come in and start a meeting, and dreaming about making money online but don't have the guts to try.
