Well, that depends. If you're opinionated like I am, have something to say and want to share your views and opinions with the world, then you'll probably find a comfort level with a blog.

But if you do decide to blog and you're doing it as a "for- profit" enterprise, it's important that you take it seriously and treat it like a business. Because that's exactly what it is.

It means refreshing your content regularly and giving your readers plenty of value so that they have a reason to return often.

If you're not prepared to do those things on a consistent basis, then you shouldn't blog.

But if you do decide to make that commitment, I look forward to seeing you in the blogospere!

    Hey David,

    Yes, excellent share. I think this mindset goofs people up. Yes, internet marketing gives us the unique opportunity to work from home in our pajamas (batman at the moment by the way, lol), but don't let that fool you into thinking you shouldn't treat this like you would a real business.

    If you want to be successful, you need to take this very seriously.
